Also... "energy signatures"... That's not how sonar works. Don't make me hurt you!
I agree as it's "for the movies" but I never once said Energy signatures and how sonar works. I said machinery.
I would be willing to put a pay check up that if we can pick up shrimp popping, bottom contour, whales, noises....etc, etc, that we could pick them up moving that fast through the water. There gigantic robots. not jellyfish floating through the water

How do the Twins beat down Devy?
Guess I'll have to wait on this guy's part 2 review

Intah-wib-buls?

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Depends on DotM. If it will be near the level of Movie 1, people will just call RotF a filler, if it will be worse than RotF, people will have a new flick to throw stones at.
I guess we will find it out on june 28.

That has nothing to do with intelligence, but simple personal taste.

No, I'm talking about the part where he is talking about the Professor that makes sexual innuendo's and likes teenage girls. He rolled his eyes and what not saying this is just another of Bay's crazy characters.
Tekka wrote:That was probably just a dig at the character being a creepy dirty old man.
Tekka wrote:I dunno... The character is quite creepy and... wrong.
Tyrannotaur wrote:I like Film Brain, he is a funny guy. I watch his stuff as well as alot of other TGWTG casts stuff regularly. I do feel he makes alot of valid points in his reviews but often he nitpicks way too much. He also brings up the points that I feel have been discussed to death (Devastators Wrecking Balls, Wheelie humping, The Twins being racial stereotypes, Simmon's butt cheeks, etc) and I know he has to bring those up, but I feel like its been talked about so much that its just annoying to hear complaints about them. Other stuff like not knowing what a space bridge is (to be fair though Jetfire gives a one sentence explanation of it)and who various transformers are is just a result of not being a transformers fan and just being a regular everyday Joe (much like Nostalgia Critic's Pokemon the first movie review I might add). Though him not knowing who the Arcee team is was kind of silly. He knew who Rampage and other characters where from I assume Wikipedia's summary, yet Team Arcee's name is establish in the shot when they are all riding in Shanghai. Just a nitpick of my own.
Transformers Revenge of the Fallen is a mess of a movie. I agree that the movie has too much comic relief padding but not enough action to warrant relieving us with the said padding. There are continuity errors galore and plot holes. Much of this has to do with the Writer's strike problem and the studio's inpatients to wait for it to end. However I do enjoy the movie. Its a decent ride of a movie and has some good scenes. While the bad stuff of the movie is bad, there is still alot of decent stuff. This film is no Dark Knight, but anyone going in and expecting it to be that is a fool. Transformer's are capable of telling very good story lines, but Micheal Bay isn't that good of a story teller. I do like Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, It is a guilty pleasure of mine, much like the Pokemon movies (Well most of them). I know how alot of people despise the movie and its their right too. I have high hopes that Dark of the Moon will at least reassure some critics that these movies are capable of having a solid narrative.
TL;DR I like Film Brains Reviews, I think he can be too nitpicky at times, but he makes valid points here. I personally liked Transformers ROTF even though I agree it had alot of problems.

Thank the OP for that.Counterpunch wrote:I think I saw that the guy who wrote this stated that he was proud of the little "flame war" he started in this thread.
I hope someone is proud.

Personally, i don't even know why threads like this are even allowed. There must be 2 dozen or so already, 10+ pages deep. Its the same argument over and over and the results are the same. The movie is 2 years old already with the third coming out in less than a week. People who don't like the movie.. Deal with it. Its done, it over, its not going to change. People that like it...Chances are your not going to change anyone that didn't like it. Like i said, its the same crap over and over. Everyone on both sides just needs to get over it and move on.
