Re: Best cartoons to help get into Transformers?
I notice there’s quite a few books on how to draw Transformers.
I’ve never been able to draw. I think I lack the gene.
Is drawing Transformers a good way to get into Transformers. I notice that the Transformers in the cartoons are simply drawn, like in the G1 cartoon, but it totally works.
Is it hard to draw characters like Omega Supreme and Bruticus?

It's incredibly complex. You should just stick to the cartoons duragrip blackwasp. Learning to draw requires reading which you've stated you don't like doing.

Will the Transformers toys enhance the experience of watching the cartoons, making them more impactful and powerful, sort of like the Mini-cons increased the potency and strength of the Transformers in Armada?

I thought it was evident from the "cartoons don't need to be good to be good" post.

Absolutely. You should run out and buy them all! It might cost about 5$ billion but hey, it's a small price to pay for enhancing your cartoon watching!

Transformers Energon is worth watching just to see what Energon Omega Supreme and Optimus Prime can’t do when they combine. This is just a small sample:
The Energon toys can do this by the way and much, much more!

Mega-Octane (Ruination's torso component) even once came up with his own plan to infiltrate the Autobots' secret hidden base, and which almost worked if not for Scourge's temper getting the better of him and ruining the plan right as it was about to succeed.
The Commandos/Ruination are getting ALOT more exposure in the Robots in Disguise 2001 cartoon. So far they’ve appeared in every episode since the episode they first debuted. Will this continue? Can I expect to see them throughout the rest of the episodes?
Is Transformers Robots in Disguise 2001 a love letter to the fans of the G1 Combaticons/Bruticus?
Saberblade, do you have the Commandos/Ruination Robots in Disguise 2001 combiner toy set? Do you like it?

Is Transformers Prime as good as Transformers Animated?
Would most fans prefer Transformers Prime over Transformers Animated?

And it's the longest-running Transformers cartoon ever made, at 104 episodes. That's longer even that G1's measly 98 episodes.

I'm not expecting it (nor Michael Bell to reprise the role since Academy is recording in New York), but that would be awesome.Burn wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Instead, it has High Tide, who is way cooler.

Are Rescue Bots and Robots in Disguise 2015 part of the same continuity?
What’s Academy? I’ve never heard of that.

Yes. But, only Season 4 of Rescue Bots takes place concurrent with Season 1 of Robots in Disguise 2015. Seasons 1-3 of Rescue Bots took place concurrent with Seasons 1-2 of Transformers: Prime.blackwasp wrote:Are Rescue Bots and Robots in Disguise 2015 part of the same continuity?
Its full name is Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy. It is the sequel to Transformers: Rescue Bots. But, it hasn't come out yet.blackwasp wrote:What’s Academy? I’ve never heard of that.

I just watched this episode “The Test” Robots in Disguise 2001. You were right the Commandos/Ruination are much smarter and more substantial than the Combaticons/Bruticus.
You have very good taste. Do you have any other recommendations?
I feel a kindred spark with you. I think I can learn a lot from you.
Are you a Commandos/Ruination fanboy?
I’d like to be your Decepticon comrade.

Why does the old-style animation look better than the modern animation?

I can see you’re hurt and angry. I deserve all your animosity.
I’m sorry for causing you to feel pain. I’m a piece of dog feces.
You’re an intelligent, smart, and beautiful human being.
I’d like to see things from your point of view.
