I'd give more however, as i'm not a 4chan user really, I am not aware of a comprehensive list per say.

As a YTMND user I thank our 4chan brothers in arms for their assistance and support on YTMND day Jan 10, 2006.

Anonymous, the anti-Scientology organization, started with them. They were also responsible for Rick rolling, lolcats (pictures of cats with horribly misspelled phrases), and the song Chocolate Rain. That's not a full list, but it should at least give you an idea of what they're like.
