Hi folks,

The start may be delayed a day or two, since I'm under siege by some nasty virus, and don't really feel on top... :SICK:

I'll post some more stuff up, while I'm still conscious. And here are a few points for you to ponder on in the meantime.

1. We'll continue where we left off. The only difference being is that people can relocate their characters to any plotline they wish.

2. Everyone can keep all characters they had, if they wish. Still, it would be appreciated if you only kept characters you really want to play and have ideas for. This is rather a principle than a rule, up to you.

3. The new rules are up, but there will be some modifications. For one, the limit on fanmade characters will be removed. One will be able to apply for and have any number of fanmades, but with the following restriction: they can only post actively with a maximum of 5 fanmades at any one time. And it is not possible to have fanmade NPC hordes running around, unless discussed and permitted by a Mod/Admin. Again, use common sense and responsibility and apply for characters you really wish to give depth to.

4. As you decide which characters to keep, you can start filling the Role Call thread, so we can see what we can work with.

5. The application threads will be opened shortly. You can apply for characters and stories. Before applying for a plotline, feel free to discuss it between each other to clarify things. And if you're uncertain about something, ask. The whole idea is kind of experimental, but it only aims to make the game more fun.

Ok, im interested. Have a home PC again and if Blackstreak still has the file for my fanmade Psychout then ill re-join.

Only problem... I got totally lost as to what was going on over the last few months even just to read through. Will there be a way to recap the previous plotlines to garner an idea of where everyone was (even if they plan on moving?)

We started from scratch again without any big things going on yet (big battle happening soon though). So you should be able to catch up right away.

He was but id not used him in a long while. No bother.

Question: When is the game supposed to start? I can see from all of Gat's hard work that it's very close to restarting, but there's only one RP thread and no clarification on who will get to be in which storyline.

Just wondering, since no one else has seemed to ask.

EDIT: Well, it's hardly a fair expectation for the game to start soon when who knows what the heck will happen to the forums in the next 72 hours!

Ah well, there's always next week. :grin:

Practically, people can already post in the Polyhex thread. The new structure will have the following types of stories:

Open Stories: only a few of the characters are set (i. e. Shockwave and Fot Max for the Siege of Polyhex), and for the others, people can freely join a mission with their approved characters, if they are not involved in another story.

Reserved Stories: in these plotlines, the participants are already preset. There might be room for one or two other characters, but it's up to the author of the plotline.

I've been willing to edit the rules to properly reflect the changes, but since I've been working 12-13 hours for the past few days, I couldn't get to it yet.

It also might help me do this right if you folks posted a few questions here about what you don't understand,or see clearly.

I'm gathering that many of us are unsure as to were or how to reintro our characters on the cresp of the Decepticon invading forces approach to Polyhex and the mythic Maximus line.

I know i'm personally waiting for higher ranking cons set the scene before I toss Skywarp and Turbulence in. I'm not sure if i'm still NPCing Blitzwing. He's kinda fun though.

As for the

side of things. I'm guessing those who would like to be in Polyhex could pick up were ever they like, be it on the wall awaiting conflict or elsewere striving to find a moments peace in an otherwise war torn life.

I'm thinking the Dynobots are still on earth, in jurassic form, with Jetfire. Hope the former con doesn't get trapped under a hand full of ice cubes...

Other locations on Cybertron are probably pending a story arc to use them in so i'm unsure were that leaves Kalis thread/story, Uraya thread/story, or even Altihex thread/story ES...

But a new thread/story would go a long way to answer such things.

Might be handy to carve out the basic plans of each faction, so that many of us may have an idea where to place our characters without creating too much chaos for you, the gamemasters.

Last I know Bane and Thrall where inside Thunderwing on their way to the soon-to-be-frontlines where TW wanted to drop'em off (HH and I thought of some sort of airborne-tactic where the Corrupticons were thrown behind the bots by TW to cause havoc)

Currently all characters on Cybertron should be played in the The Siege of Polyhex thread with location tag giving out the needed information on your character's whereabouts.

I have also put up another thread for Earth.

What comes to free for all section, I need to know who don't have access there to allow people to post there.

Would it be a good idea to just get the individual territory threads back up for now so everyone can get back into the RPG from where it was before the crash. Then we can start introducing individual story arc threads after things have settled down, does that sound like a viable option to everyone?

Sounds good to me I don't quite know where to put Strafe or Bluestatic so individual terratories sounds easier in order to get the game running. That and I haven't a clue what's quite going on in the seige of polyhex.

They were at polyhex last going off to attack something, and I'm sorry to say I don't remember what.

Yes, the Seekers are on duty at Polyhex. I'll be taking over Starscream to head up the Decepticon defences since his last player moved on from the game.
