Could Unicron Eat Earth?

I know he's called the Planet Eater, But from what I've seen he only eaten mechanical planets. Does he really have a tatse for organic planets though?

Hmm. I suppose if we think of a planet like Cybertron as a big chunk of meat, and Earth containing less metal would be mostly fibre with a hot liquid centre. Good if Unicron ever decides to go on a diet.

I don't think Lithone is metal. It looks to be rocky with metal roads and buildings.
EDIT: In fact, I'm not even sure the roads are metal.

I'd say no, due to the reason we don't have enough metal (at least not proccessed metals) lying about. We'd just be like... Diet Coke or a granola bar for him, and those things are gross

Shockwave would think my posts are logical...

Never heard Earth referred to as "Diet Coke and granola" before....for some reason, I find that very amusing!

Of course he could. He's a planet eater. Not "Only metal eater", PLANET eater. Which means he's not eating Pluto. He's not changing all his business cards.

Or, he could turn into a PLAN eater. Unicron: Being really frustrating by eating your plans and buggering up your building project.

I'd say the Earth's Natural resources would be a decent enough snack for the Planet Consumer. Some variation in his diet would not be too bad a thing (though all that Saltwater would make him thirsty...)

Earth has a lot of silicon which would be good for replacing or adding on to his circuitry. It also, of course, has lot of metal at its core as others have mentioned. Much of what's left could still be used as fuel of one kind or another.
Actually, the asteroid belt would be worth eating too, though it would be reminiscent of Pac-Man.
More curious to me - what about gaseous planets in our solar system? Could he eat them? If he did, would he just fish out the metal core and leave the rest to dissipate?

Unicron,Earth...
Amusing thought...take him a bit. Size of a moon. Eventually
after breaking through the jawbreaker shell...the molton core, just might kill him or slow him down big time. Every thing,he's gone after has been a bit bigger or smaller.
Just a theory.
