And yes depression can cause an individual to cry out for attention. It stops a person from thinking straight and forces them to do stupid things. I know as i suffer from it myself, among other mental illnesses. So you can understand my disgust in how cold and uncaring people seem to be.

Allow me to explain my problem here.I wrote a fanfic I posted it and told people to tell me what they think of it. So far I've gotten 24 looks but no comments.How am I supposed to know what people think.

BTW Blast Cannon I prefer Middle Ages type writers such a Petriarch or Boroccio

Not everything I post gets responded to either. Sometimes the questions I ask may never get responded to, and it is also the same with other people too. Though what I tend to notice in posts that are responded to is the person who made it is discussing something, and not just making a statement. Also topics that are controversial tend to have people quoting each other, especially if they have all differant ideas on "what should be."

I'm not being an arsehole, I'm typing what I, and probably a few others, think of the situation. At the end of the day he's bitching that his posts are not being replied to and he's being ignored. I've taken a quick glance at his posting history and he's hardly been posting response-worthy things. And that is not an attack on what he's saying, that is a suggestion that he isn't controversial or 'OMGZLOOKATME' like some other posters.

The thing is, to be noticed on forums frequented by hundreds of people per day, you have to have a pretty big personality. I could be nice about it, and be all 'are you okay? You shouldn't feel like this because we're such a nice and friendly community!' But I wouldn't feel right, because it simply isn't the case. We're an awesome community, in my opinion. Friendly and chaotic in such a positive way. What I don't appreciate is being told that I'm ignoring a person, when by that logic, I'm ignoring hundreds of people per day on this forum.

To put it in some perspective.

There are literally thousands of regular posters on this board that I've never even responded to the post of. There are regular posters who I recognise and enjoy reading who I've never responded to, or even implied that I remotely care about them. It's such a silly, nitpicky issue to post a topic on. And there are a lot harsher posters than me that could have posted on here.

You could try posting it on Fanfiction.net. A lot of the stories I read there tend to get reviewed by the people who read them, and a lot of times they tend to be either compliments and constructive criticism. Though occasionally there are people who tend to write flames.

You need to realise that fanfics aren't everyone's cup of tea, and if you posted it in the Creative Forum, not everyone goes there either.

There are three problems here.

1. Fanfics aren't what most Transformers fans are into. Ask around, there is a lot of distaste for them.

2. Your posts are about an average of 1.5 sentences...maybe. Now I'm not saying that they aren't all action packed, but it's not like a whole lot of contribution is happening there.

3. You don't love yourself as much as I love myself. For instance, I'm positive that I'm the greatest forum poster the internet has ever seen and I have scores of people that want me to shut up because of that. Everyone reads my posts, just to hate on me. It's a win win scenario!
