It's called playing a character. That's what actors are kinda paid to do. I don't find that ironic at all. Manufactured star is also kind of demeaning to him as well. He's a great actor and I've enjoyed every movie I've seen him in. Heath Ledger was a pretty boy, so is it ironic that he played one of the most deranged and psychotic characters in the history of fiction?
