Ba-dum Chik!
Honestly, it seems my builds from before the crash are working just fine, or as I get them closer to where they were anyway. *shrugs*

If by talk you mean insulting people just to get them to react for your own personal amusement, then yes, you talk a lot.

I do have a question though; for clarity's sake. It seems like there will be a much higher level of configurability in this version. Is the intention to allow players to build the characters they want and have them still be effective in game play and, therefore, breaking the need to follow the molds of success in V1? There's a short list of how to build rammers/medics/strafers/avoiders and their various combinations well right now and the initial info seems to indicate those limitations are trying to be broken.
Naturally this question is meant for beta testers, OS, and others with knowledge - I'm interested in all perspectives for what is allowable to share.
my playing as an autobot was unintentional. long story short, never leave a computer unattended. EVER.
EDIT
question what will happen with alt-modes
also what will happen with sub-factions

Well, I've got good news and bad news for you GS.
The good news is, soon you and Sinister Mentor will have a build that nobody can copy immediately to any degree of success - Level 4 INT/END Repairmen.
The bad news is, you'll never get to play with these characters once you Level 4 them.

sorry should have been more specific: will there be new sub-factions? will the RDD stil be con and pred? and will the alts be the same as the current ones?

I'd imagine that the sub-factions will remian unofficial/offsite.
The RDD intends to remain mainly Con and Pred based.

But how will sub-factions stay together when people suddenly find themselves able to attack their fellow faction members ...
... or worse ... when people decide to change factions without the help of a Mod/Admin ...

I hope that's never the case; having a form where a request for change can be submitted makes sense, but the change itself shouldn't happen until a moderator approves.
So... is there anything needed from the community for II? If not, I will just say thanks for this thread. Having the explanations (although just teasers you mean old man

Some are already running repairmen with high endurance.
And the missions should hopefully be changing next week starting monday since the mod panel is supposed to be back up.

Depending on how often/easy it'll be to change factions is whether or not it'll be a good idea. Some people (like me) kinda run to the smallest faction to boost numbers and strength.

The way of the Jedi is sacrifice.
As is the way of the hero.
While the way of the mercenary is profit.

If people want to be all mercenary and change factions all the time, good luck to them on that.
But will it be profitable for them to do so? Absoloutely not.

So basicly you're saying that you can change faction at will as long as you have muchos energon to burn. At least that's the idea I rmember being mooted as likly when OS first started on V2.
Until I get a good idea of the economics of V2 I cant really say if I like the idea or not, but it'd be disasterous if it were ever part of V1.
