It starts off with primes voice and a picture of cybertron as he explains about that allspark and the war that ravaged the planet and the betrayal by megatron which led to this and the death of many autobot warriors. We get a show of cybertron being ravaged by war and such. It then cuts to the base in Qatar and you see josh dumal talking to his wife on a monitor, you see tyrees and them around and then they cut to blackout flying in.. You get some of the soldiers talking and having fun as the ones in the control room notice that a helicopter that got shot down 3 months ago is on its way. They sound an alert as the sun sets and black out comes closer.. He lands and they surround him like in the previews.. And then.. It happens..

The transformation seen is bad ass. It shows the blades stop, then the back half lifts up where the propeller is and you here the transformation sound loud. Then some parts moving like in beast wars and you here the sound again.. Then it shows the front of him go in and his full transformation. (My god it is sweet) as soon as he transforms he starts shooting as seen in the preview. Scorponock jumps out and goes into the sand to attack the soldiers. Blackout tries to access some top secret information about the ice man project ( where megatron is) but is cut off. ( Blackouts weapons and sonic boom are sweet).. Anyway , it shows tyree and a few others getting away and then cuts to Sam in school.






It was the same story as G1 in the fact that the planet needed power and the cube was the source instead of energy they put in many cubes. This one cube had all the power

They followed it’s power signal to earth – megatron was the first to get there but his instruments failed over the artic and he crashed and froze.

The decepticons were looking for power and the cube.

Bumblebee was the scout and when he found Sam and learned about the glasses and that Sam could lead them to the allspark, he calls prime and the others. They arrive in protoform form instead of a ship.

Once prime transforms, the whole flames thing isn’t even an issue (if it still is then there is nothing I can do for you)

A few differences but not really if you look at the whole story.

They did not show the decepticons enough. Starscream got some time but should have had more, they didn’t show blackout enough or barricade. They hardly showed brawl and bonecrusher. Frenzy was the coolest little killing machine you have ever seen.

They did show the autobots and bumblebee and sam’s relationships and the autobots learning about not stepping on a dog when it pee’s on you and such. They developed them well. (other then jazz) . It was a mix of action and adventure all the way through.

No real crappy songs were played during the movie and those that were, had no words to them and were good. There was a disturbed song at the end when bumblebee was shooting things.

Cullen’s voice was dead on, at the beginning it was a little more deeper but as the movie progressed, it went g1 tone.

The cgi was excellent and the transformation were smooth and very detailed. The sequel should rock now that the introduction is over with and the characters are developed.

I am not sure if I saw the final final cut. . If it was, then brawl is called devastator and there is no real loud transformation sound other then blackout at the beginning. Ohh and there is nothing at the end, at least on the print I saw.



Bay did a great job. Hate him all you want, but he delivered. I had a few bay haters that were impressed that grew up with transformers but didn’t like some of the others.

Did they remove the scene where Bumblebee "urinates" on the Sector Seven agents? That part seemed really unnecessary.

Hmmm...that seems...unfortunate. I wish that wasn't in here, but I suppose they have to cater to the kids at some point. Who knows, I might just laugh, depending on how Prime tells him to stop. It will have to be done a specific way, though, or else I won't like it. This is, however, based on not seeing it, so I'll make my decision in...16 DAYS!

Can you elaborate on Jazz's death? Graphic? Quick? Justified (or too much for a good guy)? And did the other Autobots say anything about it?

i thought the scene with prime and bumblebee was good. once you are watching the movie, it kinda fits.. it has to do with something that happens earlier... it didn't have to be in there but the kid factor i guess is why it was there.


as to jazz. it is quick.. like 10 seconds of him jumping around then megatron catches him and rips him in half and then we cut to another scene. they do show him totaly being ripped in half and his parts coming off. i thought i was kind of painful. it wasn't really graphic as they are soomed out when it happens. they never really developes jazz any. he only have a few lines, was it justified, i guess someone had to go so possible.. he was like the red shirt guy that always goes on the away team that also gets killed..

personaly, i don't see why they had to kill him or some of the other casualties of the thing, but this along the lines of the movie in 86 where lots of bots die. You have to have some loss in the movie.

i think they could of done alot with jazz but the movie didn't really have time for him that much.. Megatron is vicious in this and jazz is the type to go head on and fight so he was the first to face him as the other bots were occupied with the other decepticons.

i felt bad for him.. didn't shed a tear or anything.

I'd like to know this also. Hopefully they honor him at some point. After the fight do the Autobots mourn him or does it just go to another scene?

depends what you already know. Personally, I've let myself spoil everything because its just a brainless action flick, no major twists or plot points that I'd regret knowing before hand.

Essentially, stuff blows up.

It wont spoil seeing it on the big screen. All you're missing with this movie review/synopsis is the visuals.

all it is doin is giving an idea of the differenet scenes. its telling the main parts, with out little details i assume.

i left alot of stuff out I saw the movie thursday so if it is any different then the script (which i havn't seen) then you got me.

Do the decepticons go out like chumps or do they put up a fight at least? I can't stand it when they have some huge bad ass like Blackout or Brawl get dusted by a bumblebee type. Makes no sense!

BB takes down Brawl, however BB isn't the little guy that has to be looked out for anymore. He is "The Bee" so to speak

Captain Lennox and his men (Gibson's character) get some of their own back by painting up Blackout for modified Sabbot warheads.

bumblebee is not kid friendly when it comes to battle. he gets off some good shots when he is without legs and has megan fox driving.

that bee otch thing on the rear view mirror was funny.. so was him telling megan fox it would be safer to sit in his lap. and she does

since this is supposed to be real, it is alot easier and quicker i guess for bot on bot action to have a winner, they don't shoot and miss or retreat to fight another day, not these decepticons, when you are shot by 5 to 6 blasts it is probubly going to kill you when they are dead on.

bonecrusher gets shown why they call optimus..."Prime"

as you are watching the movie, they make it clear what type of warrior bumblebee is as soon as he kicks barracades ass. He is not small.. jazz is the size that bumblebee was but a little bigger. Bumblebee is a warrior. Plain and simple,

if anyone went out like a chump, it would be jazz but since the story really never had any use for him it seems, not really sure if that statement can be said about him..

blackout gets some good shots before he is taken down.. that is where josh dumal does the slide with the rocket launcher.

well, the sec of defense tells the military to dump all the evil aliens in the water to sink to a death that will crush them. They show megatron being dumped in the water. He was taken down when sam put the cube in his chest instead of giving it to optimus who was going to sacrifise himself..

They don't really show if the spark of megatron was destroyed.


Here is why i say they left it open..

1.Optimus takes something off megatron( not sure if it matters) after he gets overloaded or such.

2. they don't explain all the cubes power. it can give life to a mountain dew machine (and it does) Starscream, and barricade are still around also.


3. The fact they showed megatron being dropped just makes it too easy for him to not come back somehow..

4. the megatron toy never had an earth form, when the sequal comes out, and megs is still around, i bet he will have an earth form.. More ways for hasbro to make money...

Barricade buys it from Prime right after he finishes with Bonecrusher. At least thats the way they have it in the book.

really.. all i saw was prime taking out the trash with bone crsuher then walking away..


either A.. i missed that.. which is possible or

B- they didn't have it in there and i guess they might of forgotten that they don't show what happens to him in the movie.. They cut back to going to the dam after prime fights bonecrusher..

anyone else who has seen it ??? did u see prime take out barricade...

if i missed it then wow.. i need to work on my observation skills

ohh and if you read the book, what prime does to bonecrusher is really sweet to see happen in front of you
