Hasbro Vs Takara Prime Questions

Hey everybody,
I was wondering what the major differences are between the two manufacturers.
I know that Takara has better paint apps and they all come with Microns but I'm wondering, Do the Takara figures have more holes for them than the US versions?

Im looking at US deluxe ratchet and he has no good spots for microns in robot mode. But iv'e seen in pics that it looks like the Takara version may have some ports on his arms in robot mode.

Can anyone weigh in on this for me? I'm starting to collect the Microns and I am interested in how they will integrate with my US toys. (I just got Shining R.A. P, He is pretty. I love clear and light piping plastics.)

Thanks

Takara figures actuall have fewer paint apps because they have decals to place on them. The end result is usually quite striking, if done well. I'd suggest using tweezers.

The minicons require assembly (place decal on them before assembling them) and the larger figures have remolded parts to accept the minicons.

Not only do TakaraTomy's versions of Prime toys have stickers instead of paint, most toys have been retooled to include more holes or have holes directly attached to certain parts. So Hasbro version can't accommodate as many Microns

The exceptions I know of are Voyager Megatron and Sergeant Kup at the very least, who didn't need retooling done thanks to the holes already present.

As has been said already, In the Case of the Prime Line, Takara has less paint apps, in fact almost no paint. All the details are picked out using stickers instead.

As for the minicon ports, yes Takara usually adds ports to existing figures to accommodate their Arms Microns.

Also of note, is that for the most part, the Takara figures have no weapons aside from their Arms Microns. The weapons the Hasbro figures include, are not included in the Takara versions.

You all have answered all of my questions and then some. Thank you for your replies. I got my Gashopon/Gatcha microns today. I wasn't sure if they came assembled. (I was thinking "how do they get that tree into a capsule?")

I don't mind and actually enjoy assembling them myself but it was cool that they were prebuilt. The turtle Dado even has metal pins in the legs. I have shining O.P. and B.2 on the way. Probably gonna get the 5 piece Bow gun set next. I'll get to assemble those won't I? They come on trees right?

Only the Gacha ones come assembled by pure necessity, they even have paint, the rest are all model kits.

The single exception would have to be the Asia Exclusive Optimus Prime & Unicron set, which has the Microns assembled and painted.

Cool, I have the amw14 on the way. :) I like the gashapon ones alright. I only have shining RA p right now. (waiting on sOP and sB2) But it seems to be a little better quality than the gashapons. I dig them though. I'm looking forward to getting more arms microns.
