Senor Hugo wrote:Came out on DVD today. For $19.99 not only did I get the Blood and Iron dvd, but it also came with an exclusive Hellboy animated figure.
The figure is awesome as hell, no pun intended. Came with a removable "Samaritan", a couple extra hands, and a stand. The only difference between the figure I have and the one on the gentle giant site, who graciously provided the picture below, is that mine has a different head, complete with a stogey.
The movie was awesome as well, it's been said before. The Hellboy animated movies put the Marvel stuff to shame.

What store can you get the version with the figure?

I picked mine up at Best Buy.

Yeah, but it would be kind of hard with Hellboy 2 starting shooting and everything.
Maybe after Hellboy 2 is finished, we may see some more Hellboy animated stuff.
Hairball178 wrote:I think Sword of Storms is the better one of the two so far. I just wish that instead of going with this animation style that they would go with artwork based on Mike Mignola's style. It can be done, just look at The Amazing Screw-On Head.

I liked this one a lot. But I'm not sure I liked it better than Sword of Storms. Not as much action but a better story.
Oh also...There is a third one coming. They just haven't started on it yet...I'm guessing you guys didn't watch to the end of the credits....Yeah. Should do that. A rather "crabby" fellow will be the bad guy in the next one.
