help please
What stat affects repair. I was thinking I remember threads in the past being answered as intelligence, but am not 100% positive. Can anyone give me a little help. Thanks

Your Intelligence plus the Endurence of the target getting repaired affect how much is repaired.

No worries.
It is worth pointing out that very few have managed a decent repairer before lvl 4.
I only know of one guy who has even managed a half decent one at lvl 3.

I know I don't see alot of repairers running around that are actually effective in the lower levels.
My advice is to configure it as a rammer first and build up the defensive stats (strength and endurance) before dumping alot into intel.
I am also curious who this level 3 repairer is.

Most likely Red's talking about Tammuz' Blitzfix. Or perhaps Red's talking about one of his own charectors.

Not Blitzfix. Thats a level 5 repairer. Red doesn't have a repairer.
I'd like to think that I know which one it is, but I'd like it confirmed.

Bullocks. Red does have a repairer. Universal Mitagator. He's a rescue vehicle. Either way I'll ask him tomorrow if he doesn't post.

Blitfix has been a repairer since level 2, or March 2005, and is still listed as the 8th on the RDD's dual tactic level 3 scoreboard.

Yeah, I was on about Tam's guy. He isnt lvl 3 (or 2 for that matter) NOW but he was once. I dunno if the game will still allow him to work like he did before, cuase things have changed.
And yes, I do have a repairer.
Who ive just reformated to see if I can make him a little more effective (and accidently made him lvl 5, ahh well). So far he's been better.

well for a start Intell will actually boost repair, it didn't when Blitzfix was a level 3(or 2) but other than speed being pumped up not alot has really changed game wise, his level 3 setup came after the advent of brawling and the fall of Iron so it might be still good.

How much xp did the lvl 3 need and do you still remember the build?
It may be worth trying out, espcilly since I plan for one of my current lvl 3s to be a medic eventully anyway.

I tried a lvl 0 repairer once and decided that it's better to pound the enemy to slag than to help a friend.

at least 500K i beleive he went to level 3 with 4 str, 3intel, 4 speed, 7 crg, and 5 repair (that adds up right?) thing was back then battle blades where still considered a low accuracy weapon, 4 speed wasn't too shabby, and there wheren't any high strength brawlers on the bots side, so he might not fair too well now level 3s regualrily have blades or 7+ strength, and alot more speed

well it's when he went, i then beefed him up with more str, speed, some rank, endurance and a set of battle blades, which eventually bunged him up to level 4 and the level 5 once i bunged 6 points of ram on top.
though i notice Silverbolt's widowmaker is running a very similiar setup to Blitzfix's when he was around 800k....though he went unarmed rather than wield an x-ray.
