Alright I know this question has been asked before but how do you post a picture? I have a great picture I want to share on fan art and I can't figure out how to post it. Does it have to be on the net before I can put it up? I don't really have too much experience with this sort of thing...

I'm not much of an expert myself. I think it has to be on the net, at a site like photobucket or imageshack.us which is where I have an account. After you upload a photo there you just copy and paste the url, with at the start and end of the url. It should appear.

At the bottom of the Post text box, there is a set of tabs. that say:

Options | Upload Attachment

You can use the Upload Attachment tab to take an image straight from your PC and attach it to your post.

however, most of us do use the Photo services like Photobucket and Image shack to store the images though.

But its not necessary to do so.

That didn't work for me I tried it before.

So you posted that from your own computer, right? And you used the attachment at the bottom of the screen? That's what I tried doing before putting this topic up. I clicked on the upload attachment, it acted like it was uploading, and I checked the preview screen, and there was nothing there. Does it have to be a type of file? I tried to upload a JPEG, I think. Maybe I'll try again.

click the upload attachment, and click the put in line button that pops up. animated gifs didn't seem to like me.

you might have to use the img barckets too, i forget.

it takes like 2 minutes of screwin around to figure it out.

use the preview button, it is your friend

Yup. After Clicking the Browse button, and selecting the file, there should be a "Add File" button next to it. click that and it will add the picture.

You can click "Place Inline" if you want to have it inserted where the cursor is currently at in the text area.

Otherwise it places the attachment at the end of the post.

Now if you click Preview then: You'll get a white box with the attachment details in your post.
No pic yet, but it should show up, once the Post is submitted.
