Pyrostrata wrote:TRANS+CRAZY wrote:the Jeep Commander looks like a Cherokee, so think of the Commander as a highly evolved version of the Cherokee.
I must disagree. I believe the Commander looks more like a fancier H3...and it has more bawls than the H3 tooTRANS+CRAZY wrote:I bought my Jeep Cherokee off of a neighbor girl for $5,000 or so. I had to fix it up a little, but it runs good. Well, it should... it's a 2000 model. It should last me until I'm through with college... unlike the Dodge Stratus I had driven beforehand. It met an untimely and undeserved fate... I got into a car accident back in February, and the insurance company totaled it. And it was a good car, too... it's not everyday you get to drive a purple car.
If you treat a Cherokee right-oil changes and tune-ups on a regular basis-it should run forever...the best troopers are the straight-six 4-liter engines..they are champs! Not sure when they started with the V-6 3.7-liter, but they are not nearly as reliable

You should try this one, the Jeep Brute (it's a kit used on a Wrangler that looks sweeeet). I actually saw one a few months ago in military green. It's awesome
The Brute reminds me of the concept Jeep Gladiator. Obviously the Brute has a shorter bed and looks a little sportier, but it's interesting to see that Jeep is considering a production vehicle along those lines.
I think the concept Jeepster looks pretty interesting. Almost has a buggy look to it.
You also have it's cousin, the Halo Warthog... I mean the concept Jeep Renegade. This would be pretty interesting to see driving down the road. I wonder if it will come with a Spartan suit if they ever produce these.

It seems Jeep is trying to resurrect old names from the Willies days.
I didn't bother reading because there were too many pics in the way.Swerve wrote:A few posts up I noted that the Jeepster and Gladiator have been around for a while, these are new concepts of possible production vehicles.

Klose25 wrote:Pyrostrata, it's a Malaysian-made car. My elder brother owns one. It is also the twin sister of Toyota Passo with same engine, body and chassis.

I do beleive you mean a Saleen fasioned after Barricade. I'm very serious about that common mistake.
Although, it technicaly still has the Mustang V8 in the movie (supposedly)...but it's only a prop.

Pyrostrata wrote:a Saleen Mustang IS a Ford Mustang.....Saleen is a customizer-deal.....The worst thing I think I have ever seen Saleen do was "pimp out" a Focus! I saw that and I was like "WTF??!!" The custom work was prolly more expensive than the car itself...and it looked HORRID!!

Like, I don't care who makes the Mustang... all I can say is that I want one fashioned after Barricade!
Don't ask me why I like Barricade so much that I want a Mustang fashioned after him... I guess it's a phase I'm entering.
