Worst case scenario, the guy created an acct and forgot about it. Then delete it.
Best case scenario, it was some weird board mix up. Then delete it.
We don't want to disillusion this guy, and make him go to another board(gasps at the horror of the thought)![]()
So either way, lets delete the offensive ID and let the dude go on from here.
I don't know who started the warning: but it's a play on the warning for those allergic to peanuts. If you eat a peanut and are allergic, you may die. If you come to Seibertron and are allergic to our bad taste in jokes and crude humor, you may be banned! I think the latter is much, much worse!

DJDrew&ScoobyDoo wrote:Well, if you feel it's the same person, and that person says it's not them, can't you then delete it?
I mean if you sent an PM to that account and no one responds, you'll delete it, right?
I don't actually know how all of that stuff worx, but that sounds good to me.

So one of the locations he posts from is the library..
BUT is it the post with multiple users..
*EDIT*
Ok, in the above post he said he is posting from the library.. That one has only one registered user.. Him..
So the other one is the one with the 2 accounts registered..
Where else do you post from?

Ok, this is the IP with the metalslugx1942 attached to it.
I am just trying to get to the bottom of this since we have had a few people lately doing the duplicate user ID.

Why not just trace the Internet Provider address by every member in this forum? Wouldn't that work?

Not necessarily. His ISP might use Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. If his ISP's network was down, he may have been designated a new IP when it came back online, which would mean his original IP was now free and could've been designated to another PC on the network.

Maybe.. But what are the chances of two separate users having the exact same IP address if not from the same computer?
