(OOC: Ok, I guess I’m going to have to give out a warning in this thread too. There have been a few pretty spectacular moves in this fight, moves that can’t really be pulled off. Nothing can instantly accelerate from motionless to supersonic speed, nor can anything decelerate from supersonic speed too nearly a stand still. It just can’t be done, not even by overloading engines. The g-forces would tear even a Transformer to pieces. Also, it isn’t possible to simply slap on another Transformer’s arm in place of your own and expect it to work even remotely well. Such an operation can’t be done successfully in a couple of minutes out on the field, no matter how high your tech skill is. I do realize this is a game with a fairly fantastic setting and premise, but we do try to keep it somewhat realistic. Please keep this in mind.

Sonic Canyons – Battlefield

Shrapnel had time to react as Rage slowed and looped around from her initial rush at him. He transformed, barely avoiding the shot from Aftershock. A shot from Rancid flew well off target. A quick signal to his fellow Insecticons would deal with them.

From behind cover Barrage sprung out in his insect mode. He truly lived up to his name as he opened fire with a nonstop stream of explosive energy bolts from his multiple gun mounts at Aftershock. He laughed maniacally as he fired at the other Decepticon. It didn’t really matter that much who he fired at, just as long as he was able to fire.

From behind additional cover Kickback opened fire on Rancid with his submachine gun. He kept himself behind the cover as best he could. He hadn’t exactly been eager for this fight, but he wasn’t going to let them lose it.

As Rage came flying at him, arms outstretched for his antennae, it left her body wide open. With another shrieking battlecry Shrapnel launched a swift punch from his right hand at her torso. Once the punch was complete he launched a lightning bolt out of the same hand to give the attack an extra kick.

Sonic Canyons - The Battlefield

Macabre's attack was something of a shock to Ransack. The Insecticons were the ones doing the ambushing, after all, and so he didn't much expect to be blindsided by the Sweep's cannon fire. Still, Ransack sported heavy enough armor that one strafing run wasn't going to take him out of this fight - Especially since I'm just starting to enjoy myself!

"Ooooh, he thinks he's going to save the mega-cycle," Ransack chuckled as he picked himself up off the ground, his backside smoldering and smoking somewhat from Macabre's assault. As he used his shield to pull himself back to a proper footing, he noticed the new Sweep going to aid Discord, the one Ransack had been firing on before. What a waste of time! She doesn't even have a ranged weapon anymore...may as well protect a corpse. Moron.

Transforming back into locust mode, Ransack took flight and cranked up his sonic generators once more to fill the area around him with deafening, disorienting, audio sensor-mangling vibrations as he flew toward Macabre. Once a bit closer, he unleashed an arcing electrical blast at the Sweep, the eighty kilovolts crackling violently as they erupted from Ransack's antennae.

(OOC: Not to nitpck, but Shrapnel's antennae only generates 40,000 volts of energy on their own. Unless I missed lightning striking him to channel, or he's got a lil'something extra he's not likely going to be hitting Rage with anything near actual lightning even through his fists. IC)

Sonic Canyons- The battlefield.

Shrapnel's punch collided with little problem buckling her midsection but extending her reach as she were bent over.
The not quite lightning, but potent electrical jolt all the same had trouble conducting through her heavy armor, however. It scorched her armor and seeped through a bit, but despite all the promised pain she seemed push her way past it looking angrier and angrier by the astrosecond, and hardly looking phased by any of it.
Anger filled her mind and dulled the pain receptors, you see, much like the way adrenaline would for an organic.
One might have expected her to start breathing fire by now as she hissed and snarled at him the whole time.

Her arms, missing the antennae, would seek to grasp his arms instead. Rage would use her super heated talons to try and anchor herself to him, and try to put some serious claw marks and gouges into them.
His right arm would be the easier target for her left arm with their reflexes almost equal and his punch lingering to deliver the shock, but she tried for both anyhow.


Kolkular – Bugly's office

Bugly simply continued to watch the battle in Sonic Canyons.
The Insecticons were calling in reinforcements to maintain the upper hand, it seemed.
Would Scourge step in, or let his soldiers fight without him? Even with Macabre there, he, Macabre, and Rage are the only two fresh units verses quite a swarm.


Kolkular – The Cantina.

"I figure Scourge outranks us all or a reason. He must be a pretty tough mech. The Sweeps are patterned after him so they can't be too weak, can they? I don't think the higher ups would make hundreds of junk-bots."
Octopunch thought about things. "So, if the Insecticons can do things that others can't, then why are they attacking like that? The Sweeps look pretty dedicated in function, and from what I understand, which isn't saying much, the Insecticons are spies, assassins, and what not. The Sweeps sure don't seem like any of that. I don't see why the Insecticons are worried about job security." He boiled down things so simply. "It's not like they can swim, or break someone down to scrap in astroseconds, or get photographed with Prime, so we don't have anything to be worried about either, eh?"
He sounded secure in himself, and his drinking buddies.

He thought about Banzai-tron's ideas on getting there.
"Unless you wanna go join in, we'd probably be better off telling a higher up, and asking if we can watch. 'm sure someone's noticed. Bugly, Soundwave. I doubt we can just grab a shuttle. They might give us one to go break them, er, the fight up." Sure beat the pit out of drinking his time away.
Octopunch had the basic flight module every Decepticon had. That was it.

He looks up at the Sweep that entered. "Speak of Unicron." he laughs a bit.

He didn't expect Turmoil to come waltzing up after walking in, but he replies none the less."Your buddies are getting attacked by the Insecticons down at Sonic Canyons." he says with a straight face.

Either Octopunch were drunk, or he just didn't care about the fact he might get zapped by the walking electric boogaloo that wandered in.
"Just don't go setting my drinks on fire, and we're square, Sweep." he says jokingly, seeming friendly enough.

Honestly he didn't have a beef with either group. Yet anyhow.
He didn't much care for Decepticons fighting each other though. Not for keeps anyhow. One less 'con to fight the Autobots. Waste of units, waste of resources, and a problem if forces need to get going.

Great, he's probably babbling on about the Sweeps thought Swiftscreech. He had no idea why Chop Shop even bothered talking to him.

Chop Shop then stabbed at him, he quickly moved his arm guard in the way, knocking the spear off course. Then Venom hit his legs with an axe, cutting deep into his leg. He fell to the ground and swung his sword around himself, trying to hit whatever got him. I'm done for!

Kolkular, Cantina

Skyjack ignored Turmoil's entrance. He didn't care for sweeps, and the heat didn't help his opinion. He turned his attention back to Banzai-tron and Octopunch "Getting a vehicle isn't really a problem, since I have a buddy with an airship. It's not as fast as a shuttle, but we don't have to worry about the hassle of getting transport. He's in the Dead End, though, so you might not want to bring any valubles with you."

Sonic canyons, the battlefield

Venom saw no need to waste time with finishing swiftscreech off. Instead, he flew off to join Ransack, and fired several paralayzing shots at Macabre.

Kolkular - Cantina

"Right, so Scourge is your not-uncommon case of your big powerful mech, newly constructed, and suddenly Command is giving him Cybertron and all it's moons on a slate. Right, fair enough. Well then I guess it's a fight between the new big kids and the old dependables then. Someone should be selling tickets. I bet Swindle would record it and....is it just me or is it getting really hot in here?" Banzai-Tron turned to view the newcomer Turmoil, who was giving off enough rads to nearly offline his highly-tuned optics. He was somewhat taken aback by this, and also by Skyjacks ability to ignore the intense flux of energy. Maybe they knocked his heat sensors offline as well as his memory.
"So, I gather you're one of these 'Sweeps' that are on everyone's vocaliser these cycles. I'll assume you don't all carry small stars for your energon burners, and I'll say from what I can see of you without burning your likeness onto my recognition circuits, that you appear to be fairly well-built for battle. But then I've been offline for a while and you'll excuse me for missing the big spamflood that being generated." Banzai-Tron's tone was flat and uncritical, he seemed to simply be stating facts while trying not to blind himself.
"So what where we talking about? Shuttles? In all likelyhood the whole thing'll be over in a breem, so unless you've got a transport outside the Cantina or Video Cameras installed in the Sonic Canyons already, it'd probably be a pipe dream. I suppose I just wanted something more technicolor to pass the time rather than simply drinking and chatting about how I'm so out of the loop it ain't funny. Man it's hot."

Kolkular, Cantina
Skyjack nodded his head. " Yeah, it's a shame. I wonder what's going on elsewhere. Seems like everyone's having more fun than us. I mean, what is there to do in this miserable pithole other than drink?"

Kolkular - Cantina

"No, the other Sweeps do not constantly vent energy like this. I alone suffer this affliction. There is no cause; there is no cure."

Turmoil steped back a little to make the other cons more comfortable with his presence.

"So what do you know about the Insecticon attack? I want to know everything. My fellows are out there after all, and I'm not keen on abandoning them in their time of need as they have abandoned me in mine."

When Turmoil spoke, there was a clear hint of pain in his words. Not pain felt on the physical level, but pain felt by his soul, which few knew he had.

Sonic canyons - The Battlefield

Chop Shop was pleased with the latest turn of events. One of his enemies had already fallen and the other Insecticons had finally emerged, tipping the scales in their favor. Their foes had only recieved a single Sweep as backup. Now they would be swarmed for real.

"INSCTICONS ATTACK!"

He raised his spear triumphantly as he shouted his battle cry, rising ino the air. He hovered over Swiftscreech, out of range of his sword. He then pointed his photon cannon at Swiftscreech's face, laughed ominously and fired.


Poor Aftershock found himself under heavy fire, and having backed hmself into a corner had nowhere to run. He was doomed. None of his elite sniper training would help him now. It was over. All he could do was ensure the end wouldn't last as long as his opponent would want.

<<Discord, help me!>>

He tossed the heat lazer in Discord's general direction and turned to watch his end coming. He stretched his arms out, accepting what was coming. It came. He was riddled and forced back against the wall, forcing him to take every shot that came. Only a miracle would get him out of this.

Swiftscreech went offline from the blast of Chop Shops cannon. He didn't last very long, just like the exercise.

Sonic Canyons ~ The Battlefield

Completing a shoulder check to Bombshell Macabre was caught from behind by an electrical attack from Ransack. The jolt seared his armour penetrating to his periphery nervous system. This caused his back to arch as pain throbbed through his body. That sweet searing pain produced a surge of electrons in the pleasure center of his main computer. Macabre fell to the ground lost in the sensuous feeling of pain. Luckily for him the power surge hadn't casused any significant system damage, but it had severly comprimised his armour's structural integrity. On the ground, he was struck by the paralyzing shots from Venom the last of which penetrated his already comprimised armour and began to spread through his body that further bolstered the extreme pleasure he was already feeling.

Lost for a moment in euphoria, Macabre managed to bring himself back into the fight. Looking to see where the attack had originated he saw only Ransack. His optics narrowed as he locked on to the Insecticon's position.

The fool! Doesn't he know that I can play that game too. Only he's not going to enjoy it as much as I.

Macabre laughed maniacally as he transformed and launched himself into the air to open fire on Ransack once more with his disintigrator cannons hopefully pinning him down. As he got closer to the Insecticon he transformed again. Hovering a few feet off the ground, he held his hands above his head. Energy crackled from all over his body as he built up a massive charge of electricity and fired it at his foe, hoping to short out his electrical systems.

"Foolish Insecticon! Death comes for you with the crash of thunder and the crackle of lightning!"

Kolkular – The Cantina.

Octopunch points his thumb at the news as he replies to the sweep. "I don't know any more than what that says. If I knew about the attack beforehand I'd be out there, instead of sitting here." He looks at Turmoil relaxing a bit considering the futility of rushing anywhere. If it's on a video feed, someone is likely recording it. "Don't know why they're fighting. You Sweeps decide to put the Insecticons out of business and tick'em off?"

He finishes his drink. "Banzai-Tron is right, though. Odds are good things aren't evenly matched down here. The fight's gunna end soon one way or the other. We'll get there to see the aftermath and that's about it taking anything but a fast craft. Maybe someone is recording it, maybe the battle ROMs will be available later, but I doubt they'll be freely passed out. I wouldn't wanna let people know how I fight either."

(OOC - Profile descriptions are notoriously unscientific in their descriptions of Transformers' abilities. The Firepower stat is a better gauge of what someone can do with their weapons. Besides, as any electrician will tell you...it's not the volts that kill you, it's the amps. ) IC -

Sonic Canyons - The Battlefield

Ransack had to admit that he was a little, well, shocked by Macabre's sudden manifestation of electrical powers. As the lightning crackled around the locust form of the Insecticon warrior, he found his armor sizzling in several places and smoking in many others. He was quite durable, but having endured two salvos from the Sweep had taken something of a toll on his resilient form. Ransack was hardly down for the count already, though. Landing and transforming into robot mode, he drew his concussion cannon from subspace and began blasting away at Macabre as he advanced.

"You talk too much, Sweep," Ransack cackled. "And that's coming from someone who hangs out with a guy who repeats the last word of every sentence twice!"

Plowing forward while keeping up a steady shower of concussion cannon fire, Ransack aimed to bash Macabre to the ground with his heavy shield and get up close and personal from there.

Kolkular - Cantina

Turmoil gave Octopunch a very serious look.

"Don't feel left out if you never see the battle ROMs. I probably won't see them either. Most likely they'll try to hush this up. This could become a high-profile incident very quickly. If we're not careful, this could get out of hand and become way bigger than it needs to be. If it's not too much to ask, I'd prefer that you don't tell anyone about this. And don't go to see the battle yourselves. Anyone invloved will surely be interrogated and, perhaps, put away."

((OOC: Sorry about the whole funky arm replacement deal. I figured that since Rancid was not very complex in his design he could interface with a new appendage quickly and use it, with proper drawbacks. But I'll make sure to follow proper procedure next time around.))

Rancid noticed the shots fired from Kickback just in time, he barely dodged the plasma shots and returned fire. The shots were not meant to actually hit, but to give him the satisfaction of retaliating.

I know the Sweeps are proud warriors and despise weakness, but I do not enjoy the thought of dying with honor, or dying at all.

<<Slag this, Aftershock I'm calling in reinforcements from Kokular. If Scourge gets mad than he can stick it in his aft!>>

He opened the comm link to Kokular's command center.

<<This is Rancid, Decepticon Scout, rank 5. Requesting back-up. The Insecticons are attacking a controlled training operation. Get here fast!>>

Kolkular - Cantina

"I'd hardly say there nothing to do but drink, Skyjack. Why, this is Decepticon Central, the core of the Empire. Everything that isn't us fighting is here!!" Banzai-Tron made a sweeping gesture, almost burning his hand moving too close to Turmoil. This brought him back in tune with the Sweep's tirade. "Uh, listen buddy, I understand if you want to get a clear snap of what's going on, but if you genuinely want to help your buddies, I suggest you fire up those impressive-looking jets on your back and fly out to the Sonic Canyons this klik, or you might as well not go at all. 'Sides, we've pretty much told all we know."
"Now Gents, since we can't go help this unfortunate's friends, being the lowly groundpounders that we are," (at this point Banzai-Tron's glance sheepishly went to Skyjacks perfectly servicable wings), "and we've expressed no desire to energise ourselves into a stupor, we must away to the other elements of this fine fortress. We could go to command and see if they wish for volunteers for any dangerous missions. We could frequent the Training Area, with it's arenas and Hardlight rooms, there to hone our skills. We could visit Scrapper down in the Forge as he tries to build this vorn's war-winning widget. Or, if we were feeling really shallow and unnessecarily cruel, we could head out of the base, down the old maintenance roads to the local Empty District and take potshots at the neighbours."
"But what I'd like most would be an infodump on the state of the war, and unfortunately the Decepticon's use of top-down, need-to-know information dispensing makes that a little difficult. The only font of knowledge that springs to mind is Bugly, and he's too high-rank and too high-falutin' to just ask..."

Satisfied that his shots hit, Venom noticed Ransack's charge. realizing that the move served as a good distraction, the Insecticon leader transformed, flew right behind Macabre, charged, transformed, and raised his axe, timing his movements so that his attack would hit right after Ransack's...

Kolkular, cantina

"Ya know, I wouldn't mind High command sending a squad to masssacre the News Media. Too concerned with following the rules than winning." Skyjack was warming up (OOC: please don't ban me for that pun) to Turmoil, considering him more friendly than most Sweeps. "Now the Insecticons aren't getting in any trouble, and the Sweeps probably won't, either. Now, the question is, what are they gonna do with 4 soldiers, who have done nothing but hog resources? Figure they've gotta do something with us." Turning to Banzai-tron, he said, "Nah, he's too much of a pipe-in-the-slime. But I guess all 4 of us could get something from him."

(OOC: Shrapnel's firepower rating is equal to Grimlock's, and the average played Sweep including Discord. I don't think they pack the destructive equivalent of lightning either.
Volts are still important. 40,000 is more in the area of a low end human stun gun than the billions of volts that lightning contains.
Amperage = Voltage / resistance of the circuit. Ohm's law and what not. But that's enough OOC banter, and probably too much science. Hehe)

Sonic Canyons – The Battlefield

She was a bit amused by the chivalrous role Macabre took up. Still, she wanted to drop at least one Insecticon and she wanted to do it herself.
A task that grew more and more monumental as time passed and her damage grew.

Still, Discord had to keep fighting.
If she gave up, it'd be obvious, and every Sweep would make her life Pit for it.
No amount of damage justified her retiring from the fight until she were completely disabled, or a retreat had been called. Not even with more Insecticons coming in fresh.
Certainly not with the pride of the Sweeps on the line, and Scourge watching.

There will be no distress calls either. She's not the leader here anymore, if she ever was. It's not her place even with the odds changing drastically with fresh Insecticons appearing o counter the wounded.
The cowards really know how to stack the deck! If I were at 100% they'd be scrap!

Unfortunately Macabre had beaten Discord to the punch so to speak in assaulting Bombshell and prevented her knife attack. It was for the best, maybe considering what happened next.

Holding up one's end of the bargain, or even trying to, is a rarity among Decepticons, but such acts can certainly help with diplomatic fronts. The better the impression she leaves on others the more likely they'll help her, and her allies out later. She certainly isn't an Autobot though.

She ran then dived for the laser catching it as she went to a prone position before she slid to a stop. It looks for a moment that the dive put her out of commission from the fall's damage, but it just hurt more than she expected.

She hates shooting sometimes. Her accuracy is average at best, but that is thanks to the fact lasers are some of the most accurate weapons available.

Discord fought through the pain as she rolled over, then aimed at Barrage's torso using her knee to help steady her aim. She fires a sustained laser shot at Barrage's torso, likely the small of the back. She hopes to drop the 'con, but that's probably too much to hope for.

She adjusts her laser's aim and takes a shot another beam at Venom after shooting at Ransack while he's assaulting Macabre.

Kolkular – The Cantina.

Octopunch thought about what Turmoil "You're right. The groups both have high ranking officers in it, and they're both valuable." He paused a moment. "Still, fighting beats the slag out of drinking."

He looks to Banzai-tron. "I've gone through the Hard light simulators not too long ago. May as well have been beating up Empties." He laughs.
Then he raises a brow at the notion of hitting up Bugly for information. "You two really think info travels that fast? We could talk to him, I guess."
He still has that gut feeling that he's here for a reason. They never sent him to a post to do nothing before. With that in mind he should stick around.

Kolkular - Cantina

"The info reached us; it could reach Bugly. Go to him if you must. I must go to my comrades. They may not want me in their presence, even in their time of need, but I must go anyway. Thank you for your information and for tolerating my presence. Though our time was brief, you showed me more companionship than I have known since before this (He let out a small burst of energy away from his "friends") happened. Wherever you go next, know that you have an ally in Turmoil.

With that, he turned and left. He darted down halls and corridors racing towards the hangar.

Hangar Bay

Turmoil reached the hangar and checked his navigation systems for the Sonic Canyons. When he found them, he transformed and flew in that direction as fast as he could.


Sonic Canyons - The Battlefield

Chop Shop looked at his remaining opponents. He saw an easy target: Macabre. Macabre was under attack already, so he might not be abe to respond to another attacker in time. With that thought, he fired at Macabre multiple times.


Aftershock continued to take hits but he was still aware enough to see Discord coming to his aide. The sight of a Decepticon, a Sweep at that, coming to the aide of a relative nobody, was inspiring. It gave him hope. It gave him the will to keep fighting.

And so he fought. He started using his arms and remaining wing to take hits. Though the intense barrage was very damaging, he would rather lose an arm or a wing than his spark. Arms and wings can be replaced. But a bad hit to the chest could kill him.
And he couldn't let Discord's efforts be for nought. He had to survive this attack, if nothing beyond.

(OOC: Shrapnel channels the electricity from his antennae into and out of his arms. That should do more than blacken armor. I described it as lightning because that is what it resembles. Also as a note to those in the ‘cantina,’ there is no CNN on Cybertron. The entire planet is embroiled in a war, there isn’t exactly much time or energon to waste making television programs. Information isn’t exactly going to flow freely on either side, especially for the Decepticons. Only the very uppermost ranks know everything that is going on for the Decepticons. I’m wrapping up the battle with this post and making a called hit in it to help wrap things up.

Also, Rebel Raven, Discord launched far too many actions and attacks in a single post. Grabbing a gun and shooting at three separate enemies is too much for a character like that to do in a single post. Also a firepower of 8 is hardly on the low side and should do more damage than singe armor.)

Sonic Canyons – Battlefield

Shrapnel yelped as Rage caught his right arm in her heated talons. He could feel them slash and melt through the armor on it. The sweep missed his left arm though and Shrapnel made her pay for that. His left fist smashed into her head, bending and smashing through some of the thin armor on it. He then followed up the punch with a direct discharge of electricity into her head. With the armor there smashed open it was more than enough to scramble her cerebral circuits and send her into stasis lock. She would need repairs but the injury was not fatal. The Insecticon knew better than to simply kill the Sweep. He did happily let her fall to the ground with a resounding crash.

With a triumphant smirk on his face, the electric warfare specialist turned to face the other Insecticons and Sweeps locked in battle. His smirk turned into a frown as a shadow passed over him. “Oh slag, slag.”

Mighty engines roared over the canyons as Scorponok flew over them. The giant Decepticon transformed and landed in the battlefield with a loud boom. An angry scowl was on his face as he looked over the battle in front of him.

“DECEPTICONS!!!! This battle is over! Explain yourselves!!”

Shrapnel wasn’t about to let Venom mess things up and get them all executed here. He was the most powerful Insecticon anyway. He was meant to lead. This would be another step in that happening. He flew down and landed in front of Scorponok, going down on one knee in deference to the giant Decepticon General.

“Lord Scorponok, Scorponok. We Insecticons only recently returned to Cybertron, Cybertron. We were making ourselves at home here in the Canyons, Canyons, when we saw our Decepticon brethren under attack by these unfamiliar…creatures, creatures.” He gestured at the nearest Sweep. “We were merely moving to protect our fellow Decepticons, Decepticons.”

(OOC: Discord only fired at Ransack,and Venom who are close together, but I'll keep in mind what you said as a limitation for future postings.
And I'll be more mindful of high firepower vs. armor reguardless of endurance ratings, and/or Berserk status.

Discord pulled herself together, and put away her Laser. She couldn't take back the shots she fired, but she could stop when someone like Scorponok arrived.
She slowly got to her feet in a condition that would make Rot look healthy then walks to Scorponok before she salutes him crisply with her good arm, looking to be in considerable pain as she took her role as the spokesfemme of the Sweeps.

"The Insecticons assaulted a training exercise where low yield weapons were in use." She hid her outrage over the matter staying as steady toned and as respectful as she could. She wanted to see the Insecticons all executed for this, but it probably wouldn't happen.
"We Sweeps were forced to defend ourselves against that assault." She didn't believe Shrapnel's excuse for a moment, but she has no say in how Scorponok handles this. All she can do is present her point of view, and she would do so without malice towards the Insecticons.
Hatred won't help her be heard so she couldn't blow up, she couldn't show her outrage openly.

She could have, and maybe should have mentioned the fact that the Insecticons were blasting the people they claim they were trying to save, especially Swiftscreech who's face was removed by Chop Shop after a blasting from Ransack, but she doesn't. Maybe that will be the sweets she needs to set out to attract the Insecticons towards diplomacy and good relations.

She hopes that she did not offended Macabre or Scourge, the latter to the best of her knowlege was not present, in speaking for the Sweeps present.

At least it was over. She never thought she'd get sick of fighting for even a moment, but this was a less than ideal situation.
She was starting to get tired of this infighting.
Her head aches along with everything else. All she wants to do now is get repaired, and get away from the Sonic Canyons for a while.
Discord won't forget this assault, and that they beat one of her siblings, but she can't let personal feelings get in the way of potential allies.
She certainly can't be as openly vindictive as other Decepticons as her job is often to make sure the others -adore- the Sweeps as much as possible.

Besides, it was for the best that Rage were put out of commission. She could overlook the fact they defeated her just this once since Scorponok would have disintegrated Rage if she didn't quit.

Elsewhere, Rage slams into the ground from a free fall after being disabled. She won't forget this unless her memory took a hit in the electrical blast.
Unlike Discord, Rage wouldn't have readily stopped just because Scorponok arrived. Shrapnel may have saved her spark, but if Shrapnel was wise he wouldn't try to collect on that favor.

Scorponok's arriving yell scared Venom to the point where he missed Macabre and hit the dirt. It was a good thing he did, because If he had kept going, he would have been hit by several fatal laser blasts. I better say something, or Shrapnel will blame me. Quickly composing himself, Venom adressed the general. "You see, my Leige, I had gone to Soundwave to get us moved to Polyhex, when Shrapnel disobeyed my order and attacked these warriors. I arrived and decided I would save my unit from destruction at Sweep hands. Plus, I only shot to paralayze."

Kolkular--Cradle

Soundwave had known that it would only be a matter of time before Megatron desired the information that had been able to be retrieved from the planet designated AC488. That was the primary reason that it had held much of his attention. Organizing the contents therein in to something much more presentable to Megatron and his Military Operations Commander had occupied all of his available time in recent times. Now it was time to act on what had been organized.

With a simple retrieval action, Soundwave begins accessing his personal command encryptions which he had designed to protect the Decepticons' most sensitive information. For the time being, only Shockwave or Megatron himself would be able to access the files until they, in turn, decided to allow others to do so.

Satisfied, Soundwave opens a link with the mech most likely to be keeping a watchful eye over the systems in Shockwave's tower. He would be able to denote the arrival of the file, even if he could not access it himself.

With Discord’s attack ended before he was shived, Bombshell took a partial his from Macabre’s Shoulder. Luckily for the giant beetle the large spike on top of the Sweep’s shoulder didn’t cause him as much harm as Macabre would have wanted.

Angered, Bombshell loaded a mortar into his over-head canon and made ready to fire on the Sweep second when suddenly Scorponok appeared. Chiding himslf, the psychological warfare specialist followed Shrapnel’s example and knelt down on one knee, his chest dented and battered from the hit from Macabre.

Kolkular - Cantina

Banzai-Tron watched as the troubled Turmoil left. Looks like the lad's a bit lonely, what with no-one being able to stand near for more than a klik. I'll remember this for later. If the Sweeps really were the next big thing in the Decepticon Army, then it only stood to reason for an intelligence agent to have an inside track.
That business done, Banzai-Tron turned back to his drink and drained it. "Then it's agreed. We'll visit Bugly, see if there's anything we have the clearance to know, and if we're lucky he won't try to decapitate us." The martial artist got up and headed for the door. "He's still quartered in Block J7 right?"
Banzai-Tron didn't really care what he was doing as long as he was doing something. He'd been idle too long, slipping in and out of stasis lock and lying paralysed on operating tables. IT was time he became active again, even if the activities weren't particulalrly wise.
