How about wasn't promoted at all. I didn't hear anything about the show until after it debuted.

They could mock up a camaro but to do that they would have to build a whole body and put it onto another chassis, much liek they had to do with bumblebee. Using a production car means only modifying hoods, tail sections and interior. A lot less expensive.
