It was a guy on talk transformers facebook group who had purchased from Lena. Been a looooong time now but I had gotten into an argument back when I thought Lena was selling non legitimate MP 05s and he told me he was also unsure so he had it checked out. As I wrote before, its alleged. I have no solid proof backing anything up, thats what is so frustrating about this whole thing on both sides.

Does lena still have mp-5s for sale? I would purchase one to do the comparison between the figures.

There are still some suspicious MP-5 on ebay like the one in the link I provided earlier. I contacted the seller about the legitimacy of their MP-5, and... they answered me very briefly in chinese : 厂货。

Which translates (thanks google) as "factory good". Does anyone know the meaning of it ?

Well, damn, this really is a confusing thing, I can only guess we all got proper MP5s one way or the other. I still want to see what more official box variations there are just to be sure, did the YouTuber reply anything back?

The youtuber hasnt been active for a year now. Going by his recent upload.

There are differences between the first run and the reissue. Which are the only releases im aware of(besides the gold mp-5)
The difference is the silver plastic and silver paint has been added to the inside of the shoulder pieces that pop off.
The 1st runs plastic is noticably more swirly than the reissue.
The reissues face isnt as pearl white as the 1st runs.
The accessories purple paint is more metallic on the reissue and the purple clear plastic has more red in it.

But it doesnt identify your figure as a fake in general though

I already saw from Tw2005 boards of the KO MP-36. It even has an alternate "G1 toy head" of the UNCLE version.

At least they, the vendors aren't claiming it to be low QC overrun versions.

Isn't it strange that that there aren't /weren't any "overruns" of MP36 before its official release? Yet here we go on MP05, who was released yeeeeeeeeeears ago and still had "a lot" of them?
