It Is Him wrote:My evening is booked. I downloaded MM9 shortly before leaving for work this afternoon and was able to log about 7 mins before running out the door. Everything seems great so far. The difficulty, new tunes and graphics are right on the mark.
I was able to make me way up to the new female Robot (mermaid) Master, but wasn't able to beat her... with the time I had. No sweat though. The challenge wasn't too overwhelming, like some journalists are making it out to be, but it is tough. For $10, this is a sweet deal.
Oh yeah, and I don't want to hear complaints about the downloadable extras. If you don't want to pay for them, don't buy.

Downloadable extras?

It Is Him wrote:In fairness CP, I don't think MM9 stages are any harder than some of the worst offenders in #2 (Flash Man) or #3 (Magnet Man). Granted, a handful of jumping sections are a bit rough and could have been tweaked to be less dick, but I was able to beat a few stages and bosses without continuing on my first time through.
Have you gotten to Wily Stage 1 yet? There's a puzzle after the mid-boss that definitely belongs in IWBTGG. Ouch.

Iron-Man wrote:I couldn't even beat Splash Woman. The levels are aggravating to say the least. I've also noticed the hit detection on the spiked ceilings is way off as well. Used to be if you were a pixel a way, you'd be okay. Now you get within a freaking foot of them, you die.
I played for about an hour last night.... Then went back and beat the **** out of MMX and had a lot more fun.

The game gets better as you play. Don't be afraid to just E-Tank your way out of everything.
There are also some difficult jumps or obstacles that can be overcome with smart Rush placement.
The bolt rides in Tornadoman's stage can be ignored by continual jumping. Staying on the far side of the belt and jumping at the first opportunity everytime will easily get you through.
All things considered though, people are viewing this game with some serious beer-nostalgia goggles.

So like on the SNES they went from megaman 6 for NES to megaman 10 for SNES

So NES meganman 1-6 from there im lost
