Well, got the rest of the Hasbro ML Blob series today at the Fairlane KB, save for Thor. If any of you guys see an ML Thor(TT, noob, looking in your general direction) please grab him for me...I have the figure but I still need the head for ol' Blob. Much appreciated.
It's funny, b/c the girl that works there, whom I talk to alot, said that they sat there all weekend! "Everybody hates them.", she told me. I think this series is heads above the first Hasbro wave, and I am especially suprised by Jean Grey...she turned out to be pretty nice.
Thor is still the only one I have not seen from the new wave
noob wrote:the guys over at cornerstore comics were talking about the hasbro packouts of DCSH and how now they will ONLY sell cases of those guys since they were stuck with hundreds of supermans. they ended up donating a bunch to toys for tots cos they couldn't get rid of them.
JTKranix wrote:Some of these toy companies are just stupid to shortpack figures. The Star Wars 30th Anniversary Concept figures is a perfect example. Very, very rarely do you see them on the shelves because the employees at the various stores take and sell them because they are rare.
Personally I have seen 1 Concept Stormtrooper and I go to like 30 stores a week. I can understand rare exclusive stuff like a botcon box set but for toy lines that are in just about every store it's stupid to have these extremely rare figures.

Then I could sell it to tigertracks when he retires, so he could live his dream. But only on the condition that I get to hang out there as much as I want, between trips to the Gulf, Japan, and Europe.
