Now, seeing as that is highly fatal to MK characters and Sage Mode is unaffected by it, then we now have solid evidence that Naruto can survive attacks that would otherwise kill a Mortal Kombat character. Thank you and good night.

Yes, he was killed by the Toasty but his charred spine was torn out and his skull was smashed.

About sage mode: the link also says -
■If the user draws in too much natural energy in the attempt to initiate Sage Mode, they run the risk of transforming into a toad, then into stone. If the transformation is completed, it cannot be reversed.
■In order to gather enough natural energy to initiate the transformation into Sage Mode, the user must remain perfectly still. Because of that, the user can be an easy target for an opponent.
■Because the user needs to move during combat, the Sage chakra cannot be replenished, which means the user can't stay within this state for extended periods of time.
■After Sage Mode has ended, the user appears to experience exhaustion.

It also says naruto can use his clones to gather energy he has an advantage.

No, he'd beat a log into it's grave. That's the point of the technique.

Naruto may look and act like an idiot, but he is one crafty bastard when he needs to be. All of those issues, Naruto has actually been able to work around using his Shadow Clones.

About the substitution jutsu, I was saying once the wraith has a hand on him so he would be connected.

Also, have I said anything 'bout Reptile? He spits corrosive acid I don't care if you switch places with a log, your face will burn off. Also force-balls, acid magic explosive things that, when combined with speed, claws and invisibility, are EXTREMELY deadly.

How can it burn your face off when it doesn't hit your face. It hits the log. That's the point.

In MK9, Reptile lost the very first round of the tournament to Johnny Cage, a human with no special abilities who had absolutely no idea what he was up against. That says a lot for Reptile's abilities.

And, Like N_V said, yeah, the attack hits the log. Assuming any of them actually NEED to use the log, they could just dodge the old fashion way.

also th Mk universe has guys like Jax, stryker, jonny cage, even kano. No real powers (kano does have a lazer eye, jax didn't get roboarms till the 3rd game), yet are able to beat the MK ninjas in combat. If they can do it then the tart in the bright jumpsuit can do it a bajillion times faster. BELIEVE IT!

Sub-zero is the only ninja who poses any real threat, but that's only if you count all the "epic loot" he's aquired from storys so fan-wank they make fanfics look tame.

Yes the MK ninjas are tough compaired to normal people, but them compaired to Naruto is like Booster Gold to Superman

Johnny Cage shoots energy out of his hands, kano can curl into a ball and fly towards you, and can a normal human uppercut someone into the air, no.

In Naruto, a normal person can uppercut someone into the air. That, of course, is claiming Rock Lee is normal, considering he has no special abilities outside of his almost comically enhanced speed...and that thing he does with saki.

One thing MK does have over Naruto is not having a need for hand signs and being able to use attacks with seemingly no energy.

And Rock Lee isn't really normal as there is only him and possibly Might Guy who is like that.

While that is partially true (Not all attacks in Naruto require hand signs) attacks in Naruto also hit much harder.

He has no special abilities outside of his speed and hand-to-hand. That makes him comparatively normal, at least by our standards. He's like Batman compared to the Justice League; he may not be able to breathe fire or shoot lightning out of his hands but he could probably take down the entire cast if he really wanted to.

Naruto ninjas. The attacks of the MK ninjas are relatively slow and easy to block, and their more lethal abilities require the opponent to be unable to defend himself.

Hell, I don't even understand why there was a DC vs. MK game - the DC heroes have been nerfed to human level to give MK universe a chance.
