MOTU

Doom tower for me (actual cartoon fright zone hordaks main base, no trap door for boobs though). Plus I can just see (netflix she-ra) Entrapta sat at the computers inventing stuff. Has the most use and cartoon representation to me. Plus can be used for other sci fi lines.
I think if the newer fright zone set could have had a slime pit in one of the rear sides and been a two in one, but with out that, as much of an improvement as it is, it's least likely to get my vote.
Attack trak is a cartoon thing sure, but the design is what it is. I dunno where I'd even put the horde tank and it doesnt have a base to associate with unlike the attack track.
Snakes lair is fine, but to me they kinda live in snake mountain as and when.
Dunno what my second vote is for.
*a friend suggested it could have been movie skeletors hover throne fund raiser, hope we see that in the new line as that's another thing that should just be released.

If I were to vote, purely on the pics without context. Doom Tower and the Horde tank. The Attack Trak looks more Starcom than MOTU. To me, Fright Zone looks far too small, lacklustre and barebones to even be on a crowdfunding list.

I look at Neca's output or Classics and question who wants something that is clearly inferior. I remember my original Toy Biz X-Men and Batman TAS figures, and their extremely limited articulation. It wasn't great. But that was thirty years ago now.
If they do the missing NA Space Mutants in Masterverse. I might be tempted to buy them **Prays for Disk of Doom Skeletor (with removable helmet and actual hair)**. Also Sagitar, because I am always a fan of the weird!
I agree when it comes to ReAction and the like, the only one I own is Unicron. But I wouldn't call Ultimates and the like "demakes" since they basically take the original designs and modernize them, I can definitely see the appeal there. Origins is the same idea, pretty close to the original toy aesthetic but now fully articulated. Sure, some of them take a hit in the play features, but for the most part they've done a good job of retaining them.
As for the poll, Fright Zone and Doom Tower are the most appealing, I don't need a giant vehicle that's going to look way out of place next to the playsets. The smaller retail vehicles are plenty for me. I think the FZ has the most potential to be made, but is also the most likely to get a second shot at retail if it gets a close second.

Snakes lair art is already on packaging art for lady slither, though it has a draw bridge not pictured in the vote art. People seem to be liking the big blue box.
Maybe more than one of these things will get made, fright zone could definitely be released at retail. It's generic other than the small horde symbol and would be cross sellable to other fantasy lines or even look good with 3.75 figures on it (gi joe/star wars).

might not be a £40 figure but searching masters of the universe on their website for 20 weeks running to no results has paid off wooop.
Maybe motu collection will be available their too eventually.

Yeah, he's about the same price as flocked Panthor at Walmart, $40.
My Lady Slither is coming tomorrow, possibly, there's a tropical storm passing by so we'll see. She wasn't supposed to ship until next week on the 20th. At the time I also ordered Masterverse Teela in her normal gold and white armor, but even though Mattel shipped her a few days earlier she's also coming tomorrow.

That's stupid quick for lady slither
indemand just got the four pack in and the gitd skellys along with the full wave of ssqueeze, spikor, snake claw man at arms and snake guard infiltrator.
Needless to say I have some snakes on their way. Glad there wasnt a one only limit on the skellys.
Man at arms is a pass, I like the colors but it might see a better likeness in the collection series. infiltrators a pass until I can find them at rrp and same with spikor but more so with him because I'm happy enough to use masterverse version with origins (plus the lack of retro hand gimmick just goes against nostalgia and retro play.

the green and red snake guy (gorgon/naga) suffer from having the snake trooper heads which are looking upwards from having to get around the horde troopers body neck collar. That or you could dangle stratos off a string above their heads
can't recommend the skeleton warriors enough. I'll definitely try to get another set when money allows.

So I checked on my order of snake mountain with crapazon, it said delivery today by 8pm yet it hasnt been dispatched, dubious. When looking at it to buy from them, delivery 13th to 17th October, more dubious.
so I'm guessing because I checked my order that hasnt had any updates, they then send me this email.
New estimated delivery date:
November 27, 2023 - March 29, 2024
Even dubioser.
If they can deliver it people who buy it now in October then who knows what Amazon is playing at. unless they think a good news we are shipping it out early email in a few weeks is pretending to be good.

Funny enough it's the exact same spot they were selling Castle Grayskull a few years ago. (Thought I had a picture but I can't find it.)

I thought so, but I had to check. I wasn't sure if either Classics Greyskull or Snake Mountain made it to physical retail?

Comic shops at best, Classics wasn't sold in stores aside from some clearance assortments that Mattel dumped at Big Lots (which is how I got my SDCC Molar set).

Speaking of Classics. Since I have the incomplete Space Mutants line. I've recently been considering expanding my NA roster. Alas no Classics Sagitar. But I do recall liking some of the Galactic Guardian designs

Next mattel creations exclusive, a collab with a third party
https://toynewsi.com/241-49804
collection filmation skeletor and Veefriends skilled skeleton
Interesting thing about the skeletor that the origins figure didnt have, wapable face plates, not sure if the retail figure will have non exclusive swappable plates. Hopefully it will carry over to more of the figures, I still like the moveable jaw skeletor but I think this does beat the s7 TV version.
One of those things i thought I could and might pass on but I actually like the look of it. Will be my first day of a new job though so I'm likely to miss out on this one.

All four?... Megablox Snake Mountain too

Still waiitng for delivery from Amazon on origins. As for classics, I was in Japan when preorders came out so I missed it -not a bad thing as it was too expensive and the bridge really is pathetic on it. Megablox looks really fun but quite a hefty price tag and considering Megablox greyskull dropped to £50 it pays to bide time though having space for one snake mountain is problemsome as is.

We joke, but there is something quite cool in the aesthetic of the Mega Blox one. I do remember how ridiculously expensive the Classics one was, even at release. But when Dan did his comparison time. I question the value (aside from nostalgia) of keeping/owning the OG and Origins? When everything from scale to design is better done in the Classics.

Other than the snake/coil on classics, origins is looking pretty good to me, Megablox or MUSCLE will stand on the bridge ad it will look like an actual bridge (something classics cant do due to it not even being the equivalent of a plank). Play features are nice, weird that the spider thing doesnt work. Might be worth getting some retro stickers for it. I've got to display it 'open' means it taking up double the space of my other castles.
The melting pool is a neat touch and something that would have been cool to see in classics but works better with origins customisation/torso pop offs.
*also, amazon Uk buy snake mountain now get it tomorrow...28th september...
meanwhile, my order...

Hahahha, no wonder I nearly preorder nothing anymore.
