I just watched Grudge Match. I gotta say, it's one of Stallone's best recent movies by far. I'd watch this over his Expendables flicks any day.
Love the Rocky joke, as well as the guest appearances of Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield during the credits.
On a scale of 10, I give it 8 at least.

Had every intention of going to see Melissa McCarthy's "Spy". I was half expecting it to be slightly funny but mostly lame like "Tammy" was. It wasn't. It was funny, McCarthy was great as always (I'm a fan, shut the **** up) but she was backed up with a great support cast including Jason Statham who really needs to do more comedy.
I also decided that because I wasn't feeling tired from the drive and a movie, I'd take in San Andreas as well (haven't done a double feature in over 20 years). I liked it, but it was your standard disaster movie, and Dwayne didn't pull any wrestling moves. If you have some money to burn, and some time to kill, go see it. Otherwise, wait to pirate it for it come out on DVD/Blu-Ray.
San Andreas is good! A bit like 2012 but with the Rock in it

I saw San Andreas last week. It was OK, not nearly as good as 2012. Not enough desctruction.

So I just finished a Netflix binge of Sense8.
The trailers made it look interesting, and with Straczynski involved it made it even more promising, so much so I could overlook the Wachowskis involvement.
Overall ... it was like a cross between Heroes and Alphas.
It was quite graphic in some parts (sex scenes including a guy-on-guy-on-girl-on-girl-on-guy orgy, a birth ... up close and not hiding anything and a decent share of blood) while other parts just left you scratching your head (Wachowskis).
If you don't mind the thinking shows, then check it out, otherwise if you're not a major fan of having to use your brain while chilling out in front of the TV, go for something else.

Saw Spy yesterday. It was pretty good. I didn't enjoy some of it due to the row of black people in front of me talking through the whole damn thing. Even after they were told to STFU. Jason Statham had the funniest parts, he should definitely do more comedy. And he's very good at spy flicks, if he stays in shape he could be the next James Bond.
We have a blond Bond, next should be a bald Bond.

I saw Jurassic World yesterday. I wasn't impressed. It was good enough, but nowhere near the fun of /Jurassic Park. It seemed to be a recycling of the original, with a story that was missing something major. Not even the effects were impressive. The only thing it had over the original was the bond Grady had with the raptors. That was kinda cool.

I thought it was pretty good, or let me put it this way, it was better then Lost World and III. Not that it'd be hard to be.

Just got back from watching Jurassic World with the wife and kids, very impressed with it it was quintisetially Jurassic Park, everything felt right to me, strong performances from the leads, including the kids which is never easy to pull off, very nice and often subtle nods to the original film (I loved the goat and flare combo in the T Rex pen), but also some interesting new ideas throw in, it was great to see Jurassic World as a fully functioning Theme Park with attraction and wristbands and all that, it looked and felt very authentic and instantly reminded me of my visits to Universal Studios, and the petting zoo was adorable. Special effect were on point as usual with Jurrasic Park with the Raptors stealing the show again as usual.
Key scenes for me would be:
-The initial approach to the Park and the overall authenticity of it
-The Indominus Rex was excellent, it had a really creepy "non Dino" feel about it, especially when it killed off all the Brachiosaurs
.
-the discovery of the old Jurassic Park Visitors Centre.
-The scene where the Pteradons are plucking visitors out of the crowd is quite frankly one of the most terrifying scenarios I could ever imagine.
-the special Ops Raptors scene should have been ridiculous but worked fantastically.
-The finale with the Raptor and T Rex tag teaming the psychopathic mongrel was pure gold.

I thought it was total utter garbage and just a re-hash of the previous movies.

don't hold back mate, give us your true opinion!
The writing was terrible.
The story line has been done before ... multiple times.
Scientists are idiots.
You don't run around a jungle avoiding dinosaurs in high heels without a)- Twisting your ankle and/or b)- Breaking said high heels.
Raptors are not good guys.
Neither is a T-Rex.

Ditto!! Finally, someone agrees with me. It seems like everyone else liked it, but I didn't think too highly of it.

Considering the release of Terminator Genisys, I have decided to make today Terminator Day. I am watching the 1st film right now, to be followed by the extras, then onto Judgment Day, also to be followed by the extras. It's 1 of my favorite films of all time, so I will probably watch it a 2nd time, with Cameron's commentary. Then after a break for lunch, onto Rise of the Machines and its special features, and finally, even Salvation (which I really don't like that much) even though supposedly Genisys will make it so that Salvation never happened. Then, it's off to the movie theater for an early showing of Genisys tonight. The few reviews I read said it was average, not that I care much. Do I see it in 3D or not...?

I've been watching Xena: Warrior Princess, Sense8, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, and Orange is the New Black. Good stuff.
Movies:
Avengers: Age of Ultron was a blast.
Jurassic World was a damn good "park your brains and just enjoy the ride" movie especially in IMAX 3D.
Next up for me is: Ant-Man and Spectre.
The rest are blu-ray and/or streaming services:
Mad Max: Fury Road, Terminator 5, Max, and Mission: Impossible-Rouge Nation

Absolutely! And repeatedly! There's so much going on, you just won't catch everything the 1st time, even the 2nd time.
I just saw Terminator Genisys. I liked it. It was fast paced, had a lot of action, and even though the story was a bit convoluted, most of it made sense. Also, you would have to remember the original to get a lot of this film, because they talk quite a bit about "the other time." Arnold can still do what he does, and the fight with his younger self was very good, even if it was a bit short. Also, Emilia Clarke did a hell of a good job, and she looked damn good as well. However, Jason Clarke as John Connor was the best part, as he became the story's main antagonist. The T-1000 from 1984 was also fun to watch, even if it was on screen too briefly. Overall, it was a lot of fun. Not as good as Mad Max, but better than Jurassic World. Maybe on par with Age of Ultron. Go see it.

I watched the first episode, it was very similar to the first movie, will be interesting to see how they spin this out into an on-going series.
After all, there's only so many teens that can be killed by an unknown killer before it just gets silly.
