So does this mean he's like the startrek red shirts? You there going to die the moment they leave the ship. Hey that can be part of his charcter! he's afraid to leave the ship cause a madman with a bow is waiting for him outside![]()

That would be an Intresting side story though, the Transformers keeping an eye out for greek "heros" like Hercules. Much like the Goverment in G1 (as far as I've heard)

(after Galvy):
a) Balrog from Lord of the Rings

OR
b) Bahamut of Final Fantasy

Or should I incorporate elements from both? I really want to make Liege Maximo very devilish.
His transformation will be mainly based on TM2 Megatron/Cryotek.

O.K. so shin has a point...even though the Barlog looks cool; I'm not really sure if either one would work.

Hmmm, I agree, I just put both designs up as the myth creature I was aiming for was the Biblical Devil/Satan---so I guess Balrog fits that description a bit closer methinks.
As for Bahamut, isn't he from Middle Eastern folklore----like a dragon? (Didn't find too many definitive pics---I know there is a D&D one).

There are a few.... I'll leave you to figure out which ones are the mythical Bahamut.

If I'm not mistaken, I think you're refering to the winged bull form that Lucifer took. In which case I think there is already a Beast Wars Fuzor Bat/Bull that might give you a good place to start.

AcidWing - suggestion - take all the stuff shin said above and incorporate it into one character..

I've taken the sketch of Megazarak and I could pull out a better concept that would fit into a more possible transformation pattern (given the fact that the other one didn't convince me at last)
As you can see, this is another vague sketch with a few lines on it but it at least shows the idea I've now in my head for Megazarak's design.
For the transformation, it goes more or less this way: The head and neck split in halves and by folding a couple of times they make the shoulders and the arms (This time the guy has got hands xDDD, three fingers to the front, two to the back), I didn't end to decide where I should put the halves of the snake head, maybe I can mount them above the hands. The sections right below the shoulder joints go to the sides to make Megazarak's chest wider.
The snake's tail splits into halves as well to make the legs, but because they're way too long, they fold back at the ankles, making that part of the lower legs to look the way they do (The feet come from some foldings in the tail halves at the ankle level).
At last the other two parts of the tail that remain become the two whip-sword-mace thingies (Not even I can tell you what're those, I'm serious xDDDD).
As you can see, he still has the Universe Megazarak-like head design and I added a Predacon insignia on the chest (Or at least I wanted to xD)
Any feedback is welcome ^_^
And sorry for the awful lines, I'd to complete some parts in Paint because the scanner didn't get those lines, hehe.
And excuse me for the more awful english I have, it's not my natural language

There's five of these guys. They're old, real old. In fact, they were part of the very first group of transformers. They were the ones who initiated the rebelion against the Quintessons. They didn't care about the outcome though. They just used the battles as a distraction so they could steal a ship and leave Cybertron. They then went from planet to planet causing a seemingly endless path of destruction. Taking from planets what they could use and then destroying the rest.
Eventually they came apon a planet that would someday be called Earth. There they saw something strange. The planet's dominant life forms were able to somehow bend the laws of physics to their will. After further observation they learned that the life forms called themselves dragons. The strange skill they posessed was called magic. There was only so much they could learn from the confines of their ship. They decided it was time to venture into the alien society and learn the nature of magic. The dragons were a secluded race and split themselves into groups or "tribes" composed of dragons of certain colors and types. Each tribe lived in a city of sorts that was different depending on the natural habitat of the dragons in the tribe. To learn as much as possible, they each disguised themselves as a different type of dragon. Then they secretly integrated themselves into each city. Once they were successfully integrated into dragon society they quickly learned that magic was not an trait inherant in the dragons themselves. It was a skill that was learned. Because of their secluded nature, each tribe only had access to certain types of magic or "spell circles".
Once they had all mastered the spell circles of the tribes they were in, they planned to eleminate all of the dragons. However, they knew they would be no match for the combined might of these beasts. So instead, they began a great war that lasted for many years. Several of the weaker tribes were wiped out quickly. Eventually there was only one tribe and there weren't many of them left. They eventually discovered the truth about what was really going on. Unfortunately by that time it was far too late to save their race from extinction. However, even though they could not kill them, they were able to devise a way to seal them up so they could do no more harm. It took ever last bit of strength they had, but they were able to seal them and separate them as far as they possibly could on the planet's surface. There they lay dormant, except for one. His powers surpassed those of even his comrades. He could not prevent himself from being sealed up, but he was able to prevent himself from being put into stasis. He cannot escape, but he attempts to lure whomever comes near into freeing him. Fortunately no one has had the power to do so... untill now.
Here's brief descriptions of each one.
Name: Firebrand
Beast Mode: Red Dragon
Breath Weapon: Fire
Spell Circles: Fire, Light
Name: Stormcaller
Beast Mode: White Dragon
Breath Weapon: Lightning
Spell Circles: Wind, Lightning
Name: Riptide
Beast Mode: Blue Dragon
Breath Weapon: Ice
Spell Circles: Water, Ice
Name: Earthmover
Beast Mode: Green Dragon
Breath Weapon: Sound
Spell Circles: Earth, Sound
Name: Black Horn
Beast Mode: Black Dragon
Breath Weapon: Acid
Spell Circles: Gravity, Time
I will give much more detailed information on the characters themselves later when I'm not so tired.

I mean with the spell circles and breath weapons...I'm not too sure about it.
Of course, it's not my place to say what will and what will not work; but it just doesn't seem to fit the other myth wars characters...
*Shrugs shoulders* I don't know...

I had a feeling someone would ask about the whole magic thing. The magic here isn't really magic. It's really the power of Unicron that's been surounding the planet since his arival. The dragons have just been using it for so long they forgot what it really was.
The Five (best name I can think of at the moment) discovered what it really was. They aren't being influenced by Unicron at all. They will prevent anything from happening to him though. At least untill they can figure out a way to leave the planet with their powers.
Besides these abilities, they also have a couple other tricks up their sleaves. They're combiners. They can combine into Dragon Master, a very dangerous gestault. The Five have trained in many arts. Because of this they have excelent mental control. Unlike most combiners, they have no mental comflict when combined. This alows them much quicker reaction time. Unfortunately their excelent mental control in robot mode has a side effect. In beast mode they're mentally unstable and are prone to extreme bursts of rage. This becomes a serious problem when they use their second combined form, the dragon Tiamat. In this mode they're completely consumed by their rage and have no control at all. Because of the severe mental damage it can cause, they can only keep that form for a maximum of ten minutes.
As you can see, it's a little tough making a combiner team with two forms. I also don't want to use the basic scramble city combining style. I've been getting some ideas lately though. Partly why I decided to post this now.

I'm working on Sludge and nothing's clicking - my imagination is pooped.
Here's what I have so far:

Here's the transformation:

Don't mind the beast-head turned weapon. TFM and I nixed the idea.
As far as the beast face - I'm trying to go for that Jack Kirby big-monster-head-face design..
But anyways, yeah - Just felt like I had to post something in lieu of my absence.
Comments/Suggestions appreciated.
