Cars are like puppies.

I think he is on a mission to track down Sam at that point.
Oh hush, we all know CG isn't the problem, it's heads and in the case of Bonecrusher and Screamer, bodies. I can understand him not being exactly, but atleast a little bit like the proper face would have been nice :/Dark Zarak wrote:To Hell with all you CG-haters.
To Hell I say! :P

even the muppet babies have evolved from a cartoon to puppets..i wonder if there was an outcry on the muppet baby boards![]()
to the ones who are saying they are unimpressed they are either blind, lying, or have absolutely no taste or sense of current day reality...you dont even have to be a fan of transformers to be impressed by those teasers, this movie is making CGI history...i also find it funny that so many find it necesary to try and point out other small things in an attempt to downgrade the movie....."the robots look to cgi", "i would hear the robot transform, what a plot hole", "optimus scanned the truck to fast"
seriously..this is a movie...it doesnt have to be 100% perfect..just similiar ENOUGH to reality to not throw the audience off or make the audience feel they are watching a cheesey movie...
anyways, those trailers were **** awesome

I could be mistaken, but I believe it was Victor 'frikkin' Caroli doing the voice over at the end!!!![]()
Forgive me for my horrible tendencies to not know celebrities, but.......who's Victor Caroli?

How is "the robots look too cgi" a small thing? A month or so ago that was the primary reason people were bashing Jackson's King Kong on this forum and a major fault many people, professional critics included, find in the first 3 Star Wars prequels as well as Sci-Fi channel made-for-television films. They're visually interesting but the brief shots of the robots we've seen, notably Frenzy, Barricade and Ironhide, seem to lack real 'weight' to me for whatever reason. It helps aid my suspension of disbelief when I can't easily differentiate between a rendering and an animatronic prop, like in Jurassic Park. That isn't the case here.

its small because the cgi really isnt "too cgi" as a lot of you are trying to say, the cgi isnt even done yet, the voice actors arent even cast yet...this movie is far from complete and people are still trying to judge it based on an unfinished product...its been said in i dont know how many articles and how many interviews that this is the biggest CGI undertaking the studio has EVER done...even IF the robots appear to be "too cgi" it would be impossible to make it any more realistic.
Bottom Out wrote:i dont know what else to say to you...i mean, how would you prefer the robots to move? it all looks pretty believable to me, from starscream swooping in and swinging up onto that bridge down to barricade chasing spike. As for the interactive arguement did you miss starscream sliding down the street smashing all the cars, or when bonecrusher smashes through the city bus? Maybe you missed it when scorponok bursted out of the sand, or when black out began his transformation and EMP'd the base...that all looks pretty damn interactive to me...and pretty damn good at the same time.
The only thing i can understand from you is the jurrasic park argument, but even then, dinosaurs are organic looking, thats a lot easier to make beleivable on screen than 50 foot robotic machines

Oh how I love the smell of hypocrisy in the morning. Evening. I meant evening. ¬_¬'
Who wants to be the first to make up excuses and come up with sci-fi explanations! Come on, bring on those nanobots and self chaning metal parts that don't need any forging, welding or anything silly like that!(Please apply it to vocalisers too!)
Me thinks the first of many plotholes is in. Btw, who needs Wheeljack or Ratchet if everyone can reconstruct themselves in under a second? Oh... Everything but useful stuff.
I wonder how many missiles like that Ironhide packs.
I'll be the first. They're called TRANSFORMERS, not MASS SHIFTERS. Therefore, they're really good at TRANSFORMING and not so good at MASS SHIFTING.
