I think this is news as I hav yet to see it on the boards here. I guess it is possible that it may not have been mentioned because noone gives two auto squats.
At any rate, I spoted a TRU exclusive three set of cybertronian optimus, megatron and bumble bee. Each sport a new paint job. Prime is a bit darker red with flames creaping up his shoulders, megs is a kind of metalic purple and maroon while bumble bee looks almost the same as before with only a slighter darker yellow paint scheme.
I only ever saw a single cybertronian optimus and a single cybertronian bumble bee and that was about four months ago. I bought both. Megs however has been fairly easy to come across.
If those first two figures mentioned are as scarce everywhere else as they seem to be here in lou, ky then perhaps that is why the three pack was released. If you dont own cyber optimus, he is pretty neat and I suppose that if you dont already own a universe, or convoy prime you should grab him up. If you do own the original cyber prime however, Id pass. As far as BB Im not all that fond of the cyber bb anyway. I certainly wouldnt buy this new version if you already own the original cyber bb. Megs, nothing there realy to merrit buying him if you already own the original cyber megs. If for some reason you cannot find an original cyber megs, I realy dig that mold and have to say that the toon acurate colors round off a great fig. Without the accurate colors though, he is missing something but still a solid figure.
I guess in summary Id say this three pack sucks. Before I bought this pack I would hold off for the original prime and megs with a pass on BB.

Yep, it's been announced. I got my set 2 days ago from TRU online. I can't say I'm happy about the quality. One of Prime's shoulder pads (which forms the front fender of the truck) was not connected properly and I couldn't get it into place (yet) and one of Bumblebee's legs is super loose and floppy. Megatron seems fine, and thankfully, he's the reason I actually got the set (I love WFC Megatrons for some reason and have every one that has been released by Has/Tak so far).

I gotta agree with ya. Cyber megs is a great fig and my fav megs next to my classics henkei voyager megs.(Thanks due to HAL7300!)
Cyber megs is just large enough to look like a leader with superior mass when standing next to other figures of the generations/classics line while not looking too large to be it the same line.
Also gotta love cyber prime. As far as classics looks go Im torn though between cyber prime and universe prime. I love the true classic look of universe prime but cyber prime looks larger next to alot of the other figs in my collection where universe prime looks way to small to be a leader.
Its odd too because side by side the two versions are basically the same size, but standing next to figures like red alert or sun streaker cyber prime looks large as they are while universe is dwarfed. Go figure.
When I get my henkei classics voyager prime here in a few days though Im sure both universe and cyber prime will take a back seat to him.
