The PS3 is the complete system. Where it lacks a few of the exclusives on 360 (some of which are just awesome), the PS3 really is a master entertainment hub. It's just a wonderful piece of electronics. It also benefits by having no upper limits right now.
Firmware updates have constantly improved the system. PS3 really does just keep getting better.
I'm not saying it's bad system but there is ONE game on it that I want to play it and I don't have a desire to buy and play another copy of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, TNA Impact, Devil May Cry 4, and several others.
To me the PS3's biggest problem is that there is no game to push it to it limits and show it's true potential, that I want to play. I'm not into FPS, sports, and racing and fighting games bore me. Games like Uncharted might appeal to me but there is something about Uncharted doesn't appeal to me.
I don't have an HDTV and even if I did all this 720 or 1020 dpi techno babble is meaningless to me. I've seen pictures from Oblivion from the 360, PS3, and PC versions and quite I honestly I didn't see much of a difference.
