Optimus Prime Halloween costume

My son and I were trying to figure out if they'd be bringing out costumes based on the movie. I guess the answer is yes, though I'd have to see it in person to decide if it's stupid or cool...

For the kid, that costume is pretty cool.

For adults and Hallowen costume parties, that will not do.

With roughly a month to go til Halloween, I'm pulling together all the cardboard, tape and spray paint I can find (plus the Optimus helmet I got at Walmart) and I'm hoping to make something like this:
