Play With This Too Previews: Pretender Styled Action Figures
Re: Play With This Too Head Shots
Now a lot of people are saying Vol. 5 are very similar to some helmets worn in GI Joe, just colored differently, so chances are we will see them recolored into their GI Joe colors in future releases. For instance the Bruiser helmet is very similar to the Cobra trainer Big Boa.
A lot of these heads seemed to be color to fit easily with some of the bodies if you check. For instance Xando is colored like the figure called Sir Pythanore, Madwing is colored to match well with Jetstrike, etc.

The red body is called Bitemark. It will be a member of the Kickstarter.

I photo edited the Skull-FCKR head on the Bitemark body. Note that the black armor is removable. It's a red body.

End of September, but to be fair they said the KS started in February back then. They did not lie.

Play With This Too Boneyard (not Pretender Grimlock)
Play With This Too's gladiator figure is an homage to Generation 1 Pretender Grimlock.
WikiAlpha.org page - http://en.wikialpha.org/wiki/Boneyard_% ... his_Too%29
Boneyard is a 6 inch tall articulated gladiator with optional heads, weapons and a transforming Tech Drone partner. It will be a stretch goal in their Kickstarter starting February 27th, 2015 (FRIDAY!).

All these "Super Special Kickstarters!" aught to be compiled into 1 singular thread.
They're becoming an eyesore.

Agreed. PWTT is the one and only case where I would condone Seibertron's infamous "thread merging".

Re: Play With This Too Boneyard (not Pretender Grimlock)
That really doesn't make sense to me because after the Kickstarter these figures will be sold at retail, individually. You should be able to order a Boneyard from BBTS or wherever, and a thread with 30+ figures mixed together would be useless for talk about one figure.

All I'm saying is there are about 10 separate topics for PWTT kickstarters / "updates" on the first page alone.
Not to mention they are all damn near identical to one another with the exception of different heads, armor, weapons, and drones.
To be honest, I don't even understand the point of getting updates on these things anymore. These are He-Man action figures.

Re: Play With This Too Boneyard (not Pretender Grimlock)
Kickstarter is just the sales page. Do we make one thread for all Fansproject toys at BBTS? No. So why for all Play With This Too toys from Kickstarter?

Is it really 30+ figures ?
Or is it really just one figure with 30+ repaints and retools ?

Re: Play With This Too Boneyard (not Pretender Grimlock)
I'm not even reading the threads though . . . these topics are popping up like weeds and it's all the same figure. It would be different if these were different projects, but -IT'S ALL THE SAME-!
This isn't even about what toys I do or don't like, but rather the logic behind 50 different kickstarter topics for 1 or 2 different designs that are being repainted to hell and back for a G1 gimmick genre which wasn't even the selling point behind the figures themselves.
Also, there's a reason we don't make one topic thread for FansProject. They offer something different 90-95% of the time, unlike "Buy All These He-Man Repaints Too".

Oh yeah, I forgot to point out . . . half these things aren't even homages to Pretender Shells. Skeletor? Diablo? D&D? Isn't there a G.I.Joe one too? What's next? Gundam? Superman? My Little Pony?

Someone should put all of these PWTT threads in the non-TF toy section. So we don't have to see them here.

Again, I'm not saying they should be removed from the forums completely even though I don't understand or particularly care for this project. I'm just pointing out there are 50+ threads for 1 figure.

I might point out this is a unique mold (not a repaint), and is a Transformer homage (not a He-Man homage).
