It's not in effect. Glyph is having to do this one manually. The old alts have been deactivated (though a ghost image is still showing up as available) but the new ones haven't been activated.

perhaps its that all of the alts have been deactivated on both sides and only their images remain with out them actually being linked to the active data base. If that is the case then its basically the old terms of you can look but not touch.

I just looking over the fan made alt modes and can't wait 'til the iceberg comes in through rotation. I'm goona get the first one and dominate the lvl 0 group with it. Special tactic:Greenhouse Flood!!!!

Not all of the Fan Made Alts are going to be in the database.

This is the complete alt database, all past, present, and current future alts, active or inactive are listed here. If it's not there, it's not in the game at all.

As you can see, the Iceberg isn't there, so it's not going to get rotated in at any point unless Glyph chooses to add it to the database at a later date.

Uh, yeah, I was just kinda joking about the whole iceberg deal. Although it would be cool for a very rare alt as most people probably would not even look twice at it.

I'm not too sure that would be realistic enough to happen even in a transformers universe. It was just a unique alt that deserved a nod for ingenuity.

Well, compared to the Gobots' Rocklords, an Iceberg Alt would be practical.

Maybe he could have Ice-Man like powers, and in his alternate mode he's actually a Cybertronian Submersible, but he incases himself in ice when he Transforms.

O.K., but his freezer unit would most likely become damaged on the first hit leaking melting water into his circuit boards shorting him out making that impractical. Cool(pun), but impractical.

Ah ha! I disagree good sir -

1) 200 tons of ice makes pretty good armor - it would likely take quite a hit to reach him.

2) TF's special powers seem to be resilient to damage - I don't remember Skywarp ever being unable to teleport or Mirage unable to cloak because of minor damage. (Though i'm not certain)

3) Normal water is unlikely to short a TF (observe how often they travel underwater in the cartoon especially) unless they are already badly wounded (Megatron in the comics), and TFs made to be seafaring would probably be especially well protected from such problems.

(Need to draw up this character now.)

Alright, I think the only way to resolve this dispute is to put the iceberg into rotation and prove it's battle readiness.
Don't get me wrong the idea of the iceberg was pure GENIUS!!,, but once transformed it would have to be so huge that all battle would have to be fought on top of it. No arms and all it can do is slide around at an average of 300 ft per year. Used as a battle station, maybe, an effective warrior, no.
He would step on everything in his path, friend and foe alike.
As for Mirage and Skywarp never losing abilites, there were 22 minutes of animation every weekday and the animators didn't have the go ahead to draw out long personal battles, ala DBZ, like one fight between say Trailbreaker vs Skywarp lasting 8 episodes to develop the possibilities of loosing warping capabilities. Lasers cutting through ice, fire on the battle field, this guy would be more of a hazard than Autobot Spike. Throw a rocket at one of his ice peaks and watch the avalanche come down on anything unlucky enough to be underneath him.
He would be effective on planets and habitats of 0 and below though, even the cold reaches of space. and the alt design was very well done, for an iceberg.

An Iceberg alt would fit in perfectly if we had terrains. So they'd be perfectly at home in the water.

However, if an Iceberg alt is added in, it simply must be accompanied by a Titanic alt and then we all have to hope that Phaze and Subsonika don't decide to do their impersonations of Jack and Rose.

So it looks like I'm not the only one who wants the iceberg alt? Can we have some kind of poll for a one week, one time inclusion making the iceberg a rare alt. Maybe give it a battle station status.

Doubtful about that... In the new rotation seems to be a number of alts which _aren't_ in the base at all...
