Edit: I don't know why when it comes to Homosexuality or Muslims or things like that, it's normal to be "accepting" of those people, but when it comes to Christians or Trump supporters? Utter morons that shouldn't deserve to exist.

Trump isn't a candidate. He's a guy who has failed multiple times at business. He's a guy who has rallied people to his cause through insults, racism and general scaremongering.

You really have no idea how concerned the world is at the thought of Trump taking control of the worlds largest economy.

@Silly, if you want to support trump then that's your perogative, you must have your reasons but be careful if you start lashing out at people who disagree with you. You'll just become a hypocrite, wanting people to agree and reducing their valid arguments as a way of dealing with them.

Open discussion can be great fun but it seems politics and religion seem to be two topics that are doomed because of how people react

@Burn: I kinda never know what could be considered being abusive to an admin, or just a normal argument. It's more the fault of the system rather than you. Back to our regularly scheduled shenanigans.

Would you throw abuse at a staff member any different to how you'd throw it at another member?

I really can't stress to people enough that staff are ordinary people, just like everyone else. We just have jobs to do*. Yes, we have to behave a little better so as to set examples, but quite frankly, I'd much rather people not be scared by staff, just because they're staff. I can show the warnings log, only one person has been warned in the last six months that wasn't duragrip/Galvamegs. I know some may say "but you warned me the other day!" This is correct. I issue warnings, but then the person will PM me, we'll have a chat, smooth things over and I'll remove the PM because of how the chat went.

During my time as Admin I've only permanently banned three personas. The only other person to be temporary banned was Rated X, and that's pretty much a six month regular schedule.

The only time I use the "I'm Admin, you will respect my opinion" is when we're talking about Alpha Bravo and Forum Admin opinion beats News Admin opinion.

We're really not that harsh. If people are going to hate me, hate me for my attitude and my constant take-the-piss-out-of-you-because-thats-what-Australians-do personality, not because I'm an Admin.
