I am in the same boat with you! I wanna go, but the cash just ain't there for me this year! Have already started stashing some nickels and dimes in a sock for it too! I can get the time off work and all that, but the cash is an issue (when is it NOT an issue, right?)

I also do not play games, and I do not drink...but I bring other means of entertainment (not that, for all you pervs! )

I don't realy give a dam about the exclusive figure sets, although, last years were, well may I say God Dam!

I just always here about how much fun everyone has hanging out. I tell you I don't give a dam about hopping a flight to play some video games, butr you know with the bendy straw trick and mind erasers, who knows what will happen(hopefuly theft will be involved)!

Have fun at BotCon 2008 everyone, however BotCon 2009 will feature much hooliganism and dismemberment(it'll be great)!

My wife and I will be attending.

We will also be taking the Thursday Customizing Class.

It'll be fun to see all of the people from year's past even if they don't remember us.

It's going to be very hard to beat rockin' out to Stan Bush at the awards though.

I'll be there in spirit all. No way i can afford it. Not in the foreseeable future anyway.

Would love to see what color Fender's hairs gonna be this year.

I was sure I could scrounge the cash together to make it this year...I actually HAD it too, in my grubby hands...but, alas, the gods are against me this year! I just cannot swing it with this gigantic hospital bill staring me in the face!

Me and my wife should be there just faxed over the paper work today.Once I get a confirmation I'll look into the hotel situation.I really don't know many people in the fandom so I would really like to put a face with a profile name.I been on here 4-5 years and only met Ryan and Prof.Smooth.I should be at the convention Friday early afternoon.I have one question that might help me with picking a hotel.Does anyone know if theres going to be a hotel exclusive for getting a room or not?

The new regime seems to have nixed hotel room exclusives. At least that we know of. Last year each hotel did have TF key cards, but that was a promotional movie tie in thing...

Damn, I have the money, but I have two little kids! Blast. I'd love to go and meet some of you guys. Oh well. It'd be a bit of a drive anyway.

I'll probably stay at another hotel thats more affordable.I did have an inexpensive idea to take a black tee shirt and get those little iron on letters.On the front put Seibertron.com and on the back put my screen name on.

So is there possibly a cheap way of getting in Botcon? Like a general admission or something that I just get to get in without the classes and stuff? Im strapped bigtime but I'd like to meet you all. Im thinking of just driving down staying for a day or two.

I cant afford the Packages or anything thats why I ask.

EDIT: I see its 10 bucks for saturday and sunday. I think I can swing that.

I'll be there with my wife as I was last year. Of course back then I wasn't part of this board and while I saw a lot of you I'm sure 10+ times I didn't know who anyone was, really.

I did see a bunch of people getting their pictures taken together, one of them was that blonde haired guy who sang Bon Jovi like death metal at the party.

I'd be up for meeting a few faces this year and definitely doing some trading.

I'm going to BotCon, and I'd be down for a meet-up party. I haven't played Street Figher for over a decade, so I probably suck. How about Super Smash Bros Brawl?

I booked my hotel late last year, I think I got the 4th and final "official" hotel,

Funny thing is I can't even remember which hotel I was even in last year...

I'm kinda disappointed I'm not going this year. I had a great time last year and briefly met a few Seibertron members. I had my wife and two kids with me though, so I missed out on being able to just hang out with some fellow TF fans. I did go to the movie and the dinner party / Stan Bush concert. I was the one dancing around with a 5-year-old. Stan Bush was my son's first rock concert!
