My complain about ROTF Leader prime is the blades, they are limiting the hand articulation..... Other wise, more or less perfect...

Just hang in there Jo, I'm sure someone here will chime in sooner or later with their two cents worth of opinions & advice. anyway I'm really digging that Nemmy WFC Prime with that Corbot axe thingie. good job bro.

For me, this photo-taking hobby started like only 5 months ago, still learning also when got free time. anyway I just list down my steps that come to my mind right now, so you can just take whatever suits your purpose

- mine's a point and shoot TZ-10

- ISO value to be set as low as possible to reduce noise in your images (ISO-80)

- I use a tripod. In Daiso, Plaza Singapura, they sell $2 mini tripods, about the height of your fingers.

- with the tripod, use the 2s delay timer, because my hands not steady enough

- turn on FLOWER / macro mode

- use the exposure compensation mode +1/-1 etc. Photos need not be 0 exposure for best effect

- I had to increase my Sharpness and reduce my noise reduction

- because i use a white background, I use SPOT metering so that the toy does not seem so dark.

- This is just on the camera side; if i got free time, i would do some post-processing in GIMP to play-cheat as well...

- take your time to have fun with the photo-taking, and u can use it with your other photos whilst travelling, going out etc

No expert here but here's what I think works, on top of what zy80 has mentioned:

- Lighting is every important. Take pics in a well-lit room/area. Portable light sources would help but not really a must. I've seen pics which are taken just using the light from the ceiling lamp. Again, depends on your room.

- After ensuring the abovementioned, turn off the flash in your camera. Instead use a tripod as what zy80 mentioned with a time delay. I use 2 secs too. You probably won't want to wait 10 secs to take one pic.

- Background used can be a factor as well. I use black while zy80 uses mainly white. Different styles, different strokes.

- I'm still exploring the AF & ISO issues so can't give any good comments on that. Don't want to give wrong info and get shot by some of the bosses here.

Experiment with your camera by taking the same subject with different settings. That's a good way to learn how your camera works.

i have no idea what u just said..ahahahah..but mine has always been like this..

i take pics at night..ceiling light.. subject infront of dark background..2 secs timer..no flash..macro or not up to me..ouh and take pics using the nightime thingy on the camera..

Well there's one thing that appeared during the early shot of that sequence, I dun think that's a Con but it could be one of their so-called weapons platform.

I recall seeing a Cyberverse toy version of it, where they put a Legends Screamer riding atop of it...

This shd be the most expensive toy u bought i guess, sometimes we do crazy thing for a toy.
Mine is i paid USD$500 plus for the botcon shattered glass prime.... during that time, the exchange rate shd be ard SGD$800 plus... Wah kao, for a voyager class toy.... More expensive than i bought a Victory Saber or Botcon 2006 box set....
Now think back, cant believe it.... But no regret....

I got PCP at abt $130...regretted not getting 2 to display at both mode..when I wanted to get another one..was turned off by the crazy resale price.

Hence decided to get TFCC membership. I want to get all at cost from now on.

Anyway thanx for the heads-up regarding Barnes & Nobel, will check it out soon.

The book has a coupon that allows you to place order for 02 of the exclusive stepper.

Of course, the order is only applicable for residents in Japan only.

Hence we have to depend on our local stores or bros who have the contacts to get stepper for us.

My order for PCP was reduced from 2 to 1 due to limited stocks...and I recently just realised that I can't seem to find my PCP figure....

Anyway, the latest TFCC magazine should have arrived sometime last week. Haven't had time to read thru it though.

The magazine really nothing to shout abt..

Sad day for me...just realised 2 of my packages lost somewhere...Blesser missing in action. Worse is my Igear kup head. Status showed that delivered on 15th Apr but Nada...had just emailed Singpost but knowing how efficient they are, chances are slim.
