But I'm not really sure you can say that the Maya thought of it as the "end for all time" sine the made other predictions for years that are well past 2012.

They even made a prediction for the coming of the "New Age" but what that is or means is unknown.

All jokes aside I have had many experances's like this over the years.To me its pretty normal.

I'm very aware that there's something living in my house other then my family.....what ever it is likes to turn the water fausets on and flush the toilet,likes to hit the buttons on my voice or light and sound toys.

The activities steeped up to the E.V.P. level last night thou......I started to get what sounded like kids playing in a play ground from my pc last night.

I even closed all windows and killed the power to my modem and the sound presisted till I told it to cut it out.

As soon as it stoped the water in the bathroom started running again.

Sounds kinda interesting, so it plays with your Toys?
As long as it dosen't hurt you it's OK.

I sometimes hear voices and stuff comming from my pc, even if I just have photoshop open. But I found out what it was, my pc has a build in radio, which pics up radiowaves and well that's what I hear.

Yea there is medication to it,, but I don't want it, those voices have been pretty usefull to me.

With my toys it likes to turn them around,upside down and sometimes move them from one shelf to an other.And sometimes activates the electronic functions of some of them.

But to date all it wants to do is have some fun.

I considered that too.....thats why I killed the internet connection and it continued....and besides its not the first example of EVP I've heard in my life.....but it is the first I've seen in 15 years and on something relitivly new.

I sometimes hear a constant flow of very quiet metal music late at night in lab. I can't really place it yet. I think my mind is creating it out of the steady drone of the fans.

(I'm not being sarcastic.)


This guy I knew in college, who had been to some kind of youth bootcamp deal on Parris Island, says that by the end his mind was so heightened and hyper-aware that he would hear voices talking to him out of fans.

One time, after eating a lemon bar that had an extra ingredient, I was walking by the alleyway between my building and the next one, and I could have sworn I heard a large group of girls yelling and cheering at something. The reason I don't think it was real was because the way they echoed, and the way they sounded to be right there, even though they were also in the distance. It's hard to describe.

Trust me, they weren't really there.

It's common to hear voices right as you fall asleep. (Don't know if that's when you hear it.) It's a side effect of the mind shutting down. I rarely get it, but one time I did hear my dad right in my ear yelling my name. I was not living at home.

If the voices are useful to you, it's probably because they are coming from your subconscious mind, just like dreams. As long as they aren't impacting your life in a negative way, you might as well not take the medication.

But I don't know what kind of long term damage you could be giving yourself if you never try to get rid of them...

Oh no the voices and sounds from my PC are deffnatly from the radio, cos they just disappear once I disconnect the aerial.

The other ones that are useful to me, they just turn up very rarely, and they are strange, I mean they don't talk to me or try to open a conversation ore anything, they just call my name and then something happens. Once I heard the voice of a woman calling my name as I was crossing the street, I turned around and saw that a bus had just knocked a woman of her bike, so I rushed and helped her, if I hadn't herd the voice calling my name I could not have helped her. But the most dramatic one was that one time as the voices called my name together and made me stop moving just in time to let a car drive past me, if I had continued walking that guy would have killed me!
So they are kinda like my Spidy- sense, NOW that sounds totally stupid.

But as I said this happens really rarely, the last time was like 6 months ago.
