The perpus of this topic is for everyone to post new ideas for Transformers. So many series reuse old ideas and don't really add much to what allready exsists so I wanna really add to the Transformers universe.

Post your ideas of things you wanna see in Transformers that's never been seen before.

For me the one thing I wanna see is a predicessor to Megatron.

Every Transformers series that's been out so far has allways had Megatron/Galvatron as Decepticon leader and it seems that he was allways their leader.

The Autobot side however seems to show many other leaders before Optimus Prime.

I'd like to see a Transformers universe where Megatron is only a soilder for the Decepticon army and someone else is the leader. And I wanna see Megatron overthrow his leader and take over the Decepticons.

Maybe have Starscream as a loyal friend of the previous leader to exsplain why he hates Megatron so much. Sort of like Starscream was the second in command allready and actully outranked Megatron. Then Megatron kills his best friend and Starscream is pissed because he just lost his best friend and because he was technically next in line to lead.

Allso I want the entire series to take place on Cybertron.

That means Megatron is the most successful Cybertronian leader ever.

Putting Megatron in the role of Starscream would make for a great story transition from the rise of the Decepticons against an unfair Autobot caste system. Whomever this Decepticon leader would be, would only be interested in eliminating the suffering of the lower class that he comes from, a Decepticon freedom fighter if you will. (Similar to the Megatron Origins story only the Autobots would be decidedly lawful evil, and the Decepticons chaotic good.)

Once the Decepticons have the power to stand on their own on an equal footing with the Autobots, having taken their own city on the planet to live in. That would be when this new leader decides he wants to negotiate a peace with the Autobots. Megatron of course hates this idea because it shows weakness, that's when he turns on the current Decepticon leader, taking the mantle of power for himself, leading us into the traditional story line of a war to destroy the Autobots.

That's my idea, perhaps not as original as it could be though.

You didn't have to continue off from my idea of Megatron overtrowing another Decepticon leader. I just asked that you posted new idea that haden't been done before.

But if you kicked off from my idea simply because you wanted to not because you thought you had to then I'm glad you liked my idea.

It's an idea I've had for a while now. Just happens to include someone other than Megatron being leader too. It also allows the Autobots to take on the roles of villains, and the Decepticons the underdog heroes. Up until the point Megatron turns them into the thing they wanted to rise up against by becoming the tyrants in their stead.

OK so I decided to go into more detail about my idea.

So the Decpticon leader is Cryotek. Optimus Prime is leader of the Autobots.

The Autobots consist mainly of workers, medics, scientists, and other such robots. The Decepticons however are built for conquest. Autobots and Decepticons lived in peace togeather with Cryotek and Optimus Prime rueling over Cybertron as equills. Neither did anything without the other's concent but they weren't really what I'd call friends. It was more of a work relationship.

Then one day Cryotek came into contact with another Decepticon, Starscream. He asked Cryotek a simple question, "Why?" Why were the Autobots treated as equills when the Decepticons were clearly more powerfull? To this Cryotek had no answer.

Convinced the Decepicons were clearly a superior race Cryotek gave an order to his army to attack the Autobots. Millions of years later the Autobots are allmost completly elimated from Cybertron. Optimus Prime lives only to be saved for last as Cryotek and Starscream want him to be alive to see the new Cybertron they're trying to create. A handfull of other Autobot freedom fighters and an ever smaller group of Decepticon traitors allso fight under the leadership of Optimus Prime.

In the ranks of the Decepticon army is Megatron. He leads a search team of Decepticons to scout out what remains of the Autobot teritorys. This Megatron is a young robot but a stratigic mastermind and powerfull.

At some point durring the war he belives the Autobots are no more or if they are still hideing he needs more troops to find them. When Cryotek refuses Megatron's requests Megatron takes action agest the centerys old Decepticon leader.

Megatron speaks out to his troops and descovers that most of them are like minded and belive it's time for a new leader. One of them doesn't agree and trys to go warn Starscream of the impending threat. He never makes it though as Megatron single handedly destroys the Decepticon. Following his destruction he asks "Anyone else dare warn Cryotek or Starscream of my plans?" and all pledge allegence to Megatron.

In Cryotek's command tower, only one Deception is allowed entrence other than himself, that's Starscream. Both Cryotek and Starscream are in the command tower when it's attacked by Megatron and his followers. (Think storming a castel type cenerio here)

They break inside and Megatron gives the order "Ignore Starscream, everyone focus your attacks on Cryotek!" With that great battle Cryotek was killed and Megatron took power. Starscream claimed as second in command he should now lead. Megatron simply stated "You're lucky I even let you live. Serve me and you may keep your rank. Betray me and I'll hunt you down like an Autobot."

From then on it goes into the familiar story of Starscream plotting to gain power.

Then eventually the Autobots get ahold of Cryotek's body and rebuld him, as Skyfire. Starscream finds out about this and both join the Autobots addmitting they were wrong about the Autobots. Decepticons might be more powerfull but only Autobots can do repairs, no Decepticon has any medical skills.

it's the end of the war the decepticons won. most of the autobots died but some were in in stasis lock. the decepticons, thinking the autobots aredead, leave the battle field and go back to the base and go back to their energon stealing ways. an unknown cybertronian, wolfang, found the autobots and looked at looked at some of the autobots. some were dead but some were alive. he tried to revive some of them but he failed. then he tried to reawken and with the help of another unknown cybertronian, cloud dagger, they succeded. the1st one they awakened was jazz. cloud dagger left as soon as jazz awaked. wolfang and jazz reakened the other bots and then jazz triedto awake op but he was dead. and suddenly op's chest glowed! the matrix came out and jazz became the next leader of the autobots. cloud dagger sold the information about the bots and megatron hired cloud dagger.

Neat story Saber Prime . Never would have thought to connect Cyrotek and Skyfire.

Anyway, alternate realities are fun! Ok that's been done, but a small twist(and yeah, this is kinda built somewhat on a really cool G.I. Joe two-part episode):

Basicly two Autobots, let's say Hound and Mirage post-movie, stumble through a time field and end up in a different reality. Basicly, the Autobots here are the evil over-rulers, all led by Rodimus Prime, who chose not to keep his Matrix-fueled power in check, and was corrupted by it. The jist of it is a lot of fomer Decepticons switched sides to the Autobots, and vice versa. Oh, and who is leading the now "Heroic" Decepticons? Why Starscream of course! However it's not exactly the Starscream we all know and love(or hate ), but rather a Starscream who has been brought back from death(uh, not sure how though), and is a lot more somber, who originally took the title to keep the Decepticon Empire alive, but through his leadership, has learned there are more important things to fight for than "power". Also, Bumblebee's a now Decepticon too!

Hmm, I might have to work on this some more today(it randomly pops in and out of my head), and work some stuff out. Is it an interesting idea at least?

I didn't really want to make Skyfire a Decepticon but I did wanna keep the idea of Skyfire and Starscream being friends so I came up with Cryotek being rebuilt as an Autobot named Skyfire.

I borrowed the name Cryotek from that Golden Disk theft because I kinda think of that Cryotek as more of a leader in that video than Megatron is. They are not the same characters though.

I'm allso thinking that this new Megatron could have different troops from each series. Like G1 would be Soundwave, Shockwave, Scourge, and Cyclonus. BW is Scorpinok and Inferno. RID would be Sky-Byte. You get the idea, I take the the most loyal Decepticons from each series and toss new incarnations of them in with the new Megatron to help him overtrow Cryotek.

Cryotek and Starscream's followers are Thundercracker, Skywarp, Thrust, Ramjet, Dirge, Astrotrain, Blitzwing, and the Combaticons. (I tossed Blitzwing in there just because the name seemed to fit.) Just so they're not all flyers though I'll make Thrust a Motorcycle, Thundercracker an Insecticon (because I belive one of the Insecticons was capable of creating/controlling lightning), and Dirge will be a Tank. I don't know why a Tank, I don't know why he'd be a jet either.
