Even so, Link, Spawn, and Heihachi had reasonable excuses. Link was sent because Ganondorf was being controlled by Soul Edge, and Zelda didn't want that happening again. Spawn was sent by Malebolgia to GET the Soul Edge, and Heihachi was sent because a Soul Edge fragment tasted his blood and sent him back by accident.

Even Yoda and Vader can be reasonably explained: A mishap with Hyperdrive sent them to 16th Century (Possibly modern day to them) Earth. Both sense Soul Edge's Dark Side power, and then Vader chooses to steal it for more power, and Yoda decides to stop it.

But Prime and Megatron have no good reason to be tied to Soul Edge. Megatron wouldn't want it because it's a filthy human weapon. Prime wouldn't even care because, if Megatron is there, then he's got bigger problems than Soul Edge. (And if Megs doesn't care, it wouldn't be any consequence to Prime) And if there's a shrink ray, how would they transform? And if it's 16th century, what would they transform into without horribly disrupting the timeline?

Oh yeah,cause y'know...giant burning creatures and hideous non-human creatures like voldo,asteroth,nightmare who destroyed entire countries and Inferno did not have ANY effect on the timeline. and neither would aliens (one green midget and one cyborg) with big laserswords,- scuse me:Lightsabers.

For all these characters, 16th century is modern day to them. For Prime and Megatron, this is 500 years in the past. (Especially if we're going with G1, when they don't wake up until 1984)

The only reason I can find for Vader being on the PS3 is for sales. Bet you Sony paid out the ass to get Vader for their console. Though having Yoda in the 360 version might incline me to pick it up. I've wanted another Stars Wars fighting game since Masters of Teras Kasi. Guess this is as close as I can get.

that was a horrible game

Meh I had fun with it. Playing as Boba Fett and beating the **** out of Vader made it worthwhile.

I have Battlefront 2 for that. I play as 4 heroes on that game, Boba Fett, Jango, Aayla Secura, and Sam Jackson.

Nothing better than beating the hell out of everyone in the Hero setting as one of those guys.

I have Soul Calibur 2 PS2 and that rocks, but i havent got 3 yet cos its hard to find sometimes.

but the fact that they sold out to mega franchise over nothing Star Wars is enough to make me not want SC4.

I swear bosses see Extreme Star Wars fans coming and start ordering that brand new house and speed boat in surety theyll be able to pay for it.

If you are gonna put a extra character in a game why not someone cool like Dante from DMC or someone from Final Fantasy.

And Knightmare is a million times cooler and stronger than either of them and dosnt deserve to have to fight them. Thats just wrong.

All the characters of SC are better than those losers and shouldnt be near them.

The overall box office revenue for the movies is said to be around $4.3 billion. That's kind of a big deal. Now add all the money the games, comics, books, toys, and everything else, you've got a cash cow that anyone would want to get in on.

And the series is more well known than anything. Practically every non-drama on TV has mentioned Star Wars at least once. Hell, even Dick Cheney joked that he was the Darth Vader of the Bush Administration.

What would be the point of putting Spawn and Link in again? They were already exclusive for SC2. I'm glad they switched it up for the new one with different exclusives.

Link in particular would be a problem. Since he's a Nintendo-owned character, there's no way that he'd be on any system other than Wii or DS.

Wow, you don't get it at all, do you? Any time something is published--book, game, movie, comic--It's to make money. If it they don't think it will make money, it won't be made. ANYTHING. Nothing is made just for the fans, or if it is, it doesn't see a wide distribution.
