That depends on where you live.By me its on at 5 pm Sundays on Fox.In Philly its on at 4pm Saturdays on the CW.NYC its on at 2 am Mondays on NBC

I live near Nashville. I think it's a late night thing. I can't stay up that late!

What a difference! I mean, they could only do so much with the simple designs, but it's not bad at all! The fx back in the 60s were great for the time (I think they got an award for it, didn't they?) but they aged horribly. For me, it's the characters and the stories that get me to watch it. My favorite episode is "Journey to Babel".

Same for me....and Day of the Dove but my number 1 is Ballence of Terror

Balance of Terror and Day of the Dove are both great. I also like The Enemy Within and the one about the M5--what was it called? I am terrible with names! Metamorphosis (the one with Zephram Cochrane) is good, too.

As for the movies, The Undiscovered Country was not the weakest. Final frontier takes that cake.

First Contact was amazing. Seeing Picard go f'ing crazy was great. Plus it has one of the greatest quotes out of all of Star Trek. "They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate countless worlds, and we fall back. Not again. Not this time. The line must be drawn here! This far, no farther! And I will make them pay for what they have done!"

And DS9 was ok. I didnt like Sisko at all in the beginning. I thought he was bitchy and treated Picard like a dick in the first episode. He may have lost his wife and ship, but Picard lost his humanity and was forced to help kill thousands. The show did get better when Worf showed up though and the war was in full swing.

That was one of the things I liked about Sisko, it showed that not all of humanity was willing to turn the other cheek. In the second episode, he was able to bury his demons and he wasn't so much of a dick to Picard. But it was some great character development. Personally, Sisko is one of my favorite captains. He seemed to be more committed to his assignments as time went on. And he had command of the most bad ass ship ever made, the Defiant.

I loved the DS9 episodes that involved the original Klingons. "Blood Oath" was especially good.
The final episode of DS9 still chokes me up every single time I see it.

Voyager is definately an acquired taste. It's not my favorite, but I don't dislike it. I think they began to rely too heavily on the Borg when it became apparent that they could never really develop good villains.
The Doctor is perhaps my favorite character. The episodes that centered around him where easily the strongest. I liked the one where they transmit the Doctor back to Starfleet to save his creator. Dianna Troi guest starred in that episode, as well as Barkley.

I never could get into the original series, and while I have been watching the remastered episodes, I guess it makes it just a bit better to swallow. I don't understand how they can make the space sequences look so much better, but neglect the other special effects like phasers and such. It seems inconsistent. But there were some good episodes in there.

When it comes to character development, nothing beats DS9. Every character was a different person by the end of the show. Sisko definitely made a huge change. In the beginning, he was given an unwanted title of emissary, one that he struggled with for several seasons. Finally, he began to embrace it, and it became his destiny. Also, before the war, there was a moral line he would never cross, and because of the war he found himself doing it. Remember when he schemed with Garak to get the Romulans into the war? That was the best episode of DS9. Not only did he cross that moral boundary, he was okay with it.

The Next Generation's characters were not nearly as compelling as DS9's, in my opinion. I didn't see any massive change in the characters from season 1 to season 7 (but do keep in mind that I have not watched all the episodes). I do, however, like the movies, for the most part....well, maybe not Nemesis. That was so awful I never watched it again. I think the dialogue in that film is some of the best in any movie. That guy was right--that talk between Lily and Picard, where she is trying to talk him into destroying the ship is priceless. That entire movie is gold.

DS9 did have good character development. I guess I just never got into Sisko that much. Once the war started he could be a badass. Picard was probably my favorite though, tied with Kirk.

How many captains of Starfleet would deck Q?

Sisko tried to be a good captain, but he had a real mean streak to him. Like the ep where he 'encourages' the Romulans to join the war with teh help of Garak. DS9 can't be beaten for character development.

As for movies, my top 3 go

Khan.

I love the fact Khan is played by the same guy who did him in hte series as well. Ricardo Montalban, or something like that.

I knew Kang, Kor and Koloth were from Kirk's days, but I didn't know they were played by the same guys. I love it when things like that happen.

And since TOS Kahless was an imaginary guy created from an alien's mind, it's perfectly acceptable that the guy would be a little different to the true Kahless. Also explains why he was a smooth head when he should have always been pasty head. The alien had only seen smooth heads so he figured Kahless would be too.

Yes, I like Enterprise and consider it cannon.

Looks like i'm late on this but I do love the Klingons and allways looked forwards to the episode with them

Ohh Enterprise is cannon but it sucked!!!!But like I said Bad Trek is better then No Trek.

Nothing beats the Cardassians. I love their makeup, as well as their species. Michael Westmore (who worked on a bunch of Trek) is a makeup genius.

I'm with you on this one, I don't consider Enterprise at all bad. It's too bad a vast majority shafted it because it was a prelude series and never gave it a chance, because forth season they were hitting their stride.

Khan Noonien Singh and his "supermen" had control of over a quarter of the entire planet—from Southeast Asia to the Middle East and they were bombing whole populations out of existence and the entire planet was threatened with a new Dark Age.How the hell did we not see some kind of evidence of the war.

Well, I gave my reasons for not liking Enterprise and I'm sticking with them. A prequel show didn't bother me. It's the disregard of the Trek formula. It felt like another type of show completely, just some other show on Sci-fi. Oh, except there were some Klingons. Oooh.

I'm glad the writers took Trek in a new direction with DS9. It was time to show that in reality, it wouldn't be all peaches and cream in the future. I liked how Starfleet used dirty tactics to win the war, because frankly, it was the only way possible. The realization on Odo's face when he realized he infected his own race with a virus is what makes the show worth watching--those kind of moments. When Sisko has to bribe Quark into not pressing charges on a criminal hired by Sisko and Garak to trick Romulans into war--the show is filled with gems like these. It just didn't really happen in the other shows.
