game informer has an article in this months issue that there will be a new star wars battlefornt three what are your thoughts. mod move to vidoe game thread please

Free Radical was integrated into another company due to financial problems, and they're not making Battlefront III. Any news of a developer is rumor unless LucasArts confirms it, and so far, they haven't confirmed anything.

Actually it has been given over to Rebellion who did Renegade Squadron on the PSP.

Again, that's just a rumor. Pandemic is also rumored, since they developed the first two games.

I am too. They even said flat-out that Rebellion making Battlefront III is just a rumor.

I hope they don't make it swbf3! Conquest, while it was a pretty good game, was pretty sad for a company like Pandemic. Their latest game (stated above) had bf type gameplay, and it got lots of negative reviews. I really think Pandemic has lost sight on how to make a really good game.

Free Radical weren't integrated into anyone, they just closed down. A couple of the top guys have already founded a studio called Pumpkin Beach apparantly.

Personally, I'd love a thrid Battlefront. I really enjoyed the first two, espesially the Space Combat in II.

all these rumours are right except free radical is gone for good the top designers have definetley formed pumpkin beach check there site out soon

I looked it up; two founders have formed their own company, while Free Radical itself has become Crytek UK.
