Just take the the wide shoulders and small hips, such things are appealing and sexy to some in humans (I prefer G1 cartoon proportions and nto the offerly "muscly" proportions one sees in some of the comics). When it is sexy on a human, why shouldn't it be sexy on a robot?
It's just a reaction to preprogrammed patterns, like the cuteness of children. It doesn't matter whether it is an animal or a human child or a robot, big head, big eyes generally evoke the "cute" and "protect" reaction.
There's nothing wrong with thinking that Starscream is sexy and it doesn't mean that the person in question doesn't have a sex life. It's just a normal human reaction to humanize and relate to everything.

Uh, you ARE aware that the drawings, etc, are there to appeal to the CHILDREN who may want to buy the toys, or get their parents to buy the toys for them? You know, seeing how the target audience for Transformers IS kids? And the difference between live action characters and cartoons is far, far different. Live action characters are played by real-life people, they're not moving drawings.

I guess you dont read comic books??????The most popular comic book artist are those that have a habit of drawing their female character's in a very sexy way.

Fair point- but still, Transformers comics are aimed at dudes. And in any case, Starscream? If anything, chicks SHOULD be going for Bender. Sure, he's not a Transformer, but he's a real man's robot. Starscream makes even the most feminine woman look like a dude. I mean, Starscream's an alright character, but IMO, I'm tired of Starscream, there's too much Starscream, he's overdone, and he's a pansy. I rekcon most wirtesr are ignorant of the fact that there are female Transformers fans out there, since the writing is quite obviously geared towards dudes. And why are there no girls in Toy commercials for Transformers? Seriously- writers and artists are't doing anything in Transformers for females. I think a few to many of them bypass Seibertron and don't realise it, but like ,every new member that pops up is most likely a female.
