Yeah. Once. Apparently that's enough for people to classify him as a monkey.

Well, yeah, just look at Spide...oh...oh, wait...just because it swings doesn't make it a monkey.

By that same narrow minded thinking Jazz could be considered a flea or some other fast moving annoying insect.

Well... he's also kinda' simian-looking on the top half there, y'know?

Like I said.

Apparently one 2 second scene is enough for people to brand him a monkey.

His body shape was being coined by the fandom as gorilla-like long before any movie clips pooped out.

At the very least he seems to make a damn bulky jet. Isn't that a bad thing when it comes to flying?
Life can be pretty sweet when your alt-mode is a B-2 Stealth Bomber.

And if you bothered to read the context in which I made the comments both times you would see it was in relation to people making the comment about him swinging on the bridge.

But unfortunately, it was in conjunction with:

Apparently one 2 second scene is enough for people to brand him a monkey.

Therefore, blah blah-blah blah...

I distinctly remember folks referring to movie Starscream as "Apescream" or something similar when the prototype for the toy was unveiled last year, long before any of the animation leaked to the public.

Exactly. The swinging animation that keeps getting replayed (Spiderman, ch-ching!) just clinched it solid.

Who wouldn't want to pay good money to see old Screamy scratching his butt, sniffing at his fingers, hopping around, beating his chest, and making funny faces now that he has BIG monkey lips?

Even better, how about Starscream grabbing the luscious Megan Fox and climbing all the way up Empire Building, too? :P

This is sorta random, but I feel I'm he only one who seemed to like the character designs of this movie at first (bonecrusher's head aside). I think we're judging his ape-ness or whatever too harshly.
