Worst commercial I've ever seen? The Sham-wow, greatest money soaking gadget ever, I just want to reach through the TV and smack that GOD-DA**ED HEADSET OFF HIS HEAD!!!

I've seen lots of dumb commercials, but right now I'm thinking a tie between the Slap Chop and Head on adds I'm sure anyone who's ever had a TV or been on the internet has seen.

No, the ShamWow commercial is awesome. Some people just aren't man enough to admit it.

There's the local news people here...they really seem to think they're "funny" and the ads for it attempt to reflect that, but they're not funny, and the ads just make me want to punch myself.

Then there's the "Don't say 'That's so Gay'" ads, which attempt to prevent people from saying "That's so gay" by insulting the people who use it. It's likely a touchy subject so I don't think I'll get too much into it here. But in all honesty, if "Knock it off" and "You're stupid" are the best you can come up with, it's probably best to re-think your strategy.

There's a banner ad on this very site for Rebuild of Evangelion. The ad calls it "The rebuild of the Original Giant Robot anime." You would have to be VERY stupid to assume anyone would fall for that. For the record, Macross, Gundam, Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, etc. etc., all existed many years before.

If I remember right (And with my limited knowledge of Giant Robot anime), yeah. What's even weirder is that Funimation should be smart enough to realize their mistake.

It all depends on what type of scorpions thay're sell. It's an emperor scorpion in the commercial, and they are relatively harmless unless you are in that small percentage of the population that allergic to them.

I used to manage a pet store and was stung on five occasions and it usually only hurts about as much as a bee sting. Honestly, the front claws pose more of a threat than the stinger does. As long as you're careful and don't make any sudden movements in front of them, you don't really need to be worried about getting injured.

With that said though, I would never sell one to someone under 18. Emperor Scorpions are fairly docile but should still be handled with care and respect. Hell, getting bit by a hamster or gerbil is more painful.

It seems to be fixed now, it now reads "The Rebuild of the Ground-breaking giant robot anime." Apparently they found out that most people knew there was anime before 1997. A decade or two ago, that may have actually fooled people.

I was going to mention Gigantor, but than wiki informed me Gigantor is the American adaptation of Tetsujin 28-go which was the first manga to feature a giant robot.

A danish commercial, advertising a medical thingie against diaria. I can`t show it, though, but there`s a lady that walks out her house, on her way to work, and then she splits to to, where as the one of them walks back inside, with a strange looking face. Then the one walks to work, and.. well, works, while the other one eats popcorn at home. And then the medical thingie is shown.
