wait, you guys are waiting for LG Fort Max too? he's already shipped from japan a week ago.

I expect a week or two delay for domestic importers which is what my previous orders from TFSource were. So I'm hoping Fort Max will be ready either by the end of the week or early next week, not the start of November.

For Sunstreaker, Mirage, Trailbreaker, and Hound, none of them were shown to have died in the movie, so it is presumed that they each survived the movie's events.

For Prowl and Wheeljack, this manga story shows their Binaltech timeline counterparts having back crossed over in the main cartoon timeline between the years 2010 and 2011 to get some medical supplies, but found that they couldn't get back to their timeline and were stuck living in the main timeline, where they would stay and resume living in the places of their deceased counterparts, taking on new bodies based on their older pre-Binaltech bodies.

For Ironhide and Ratchet... their being alive still has yet to be explained.

To the Japanese, he was dead in the movie. Binaltech Wheejack's pack-in text story had BT Wheeljack witness his cartoon self's movie death and which was confirmed to be a death in the the Japanese version.

Plus, we saw Prowl in Headmasters and Wheeljack in Victory, so we know they somehow survived/came back to life anyway.

Wheeljack's not the only character to have died without fading to gray. When Ultra Magnus was killed by Sixshot, his fully dead body kept its color.

There's also Optimus's fully colored dead body that's hauled around all throughout the events of "The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 1" before he finally gets brought back to life at the episode's end (despite the body having faded to gray in the movie).

Didn't the behind the scenes bonus feature on the new release explain how the whole turning gray thing was meant to add emphasis to Prime's death? Anyone else turning gray was likely either an animation error or a miscommunication. I always assumed Starscream turned gray because he was reduced to ash.

I've heard others say that Megatron and the others turned gray just before being reformatted by Uncron because they had to die to be reborn, but I think that was just an animation shortcut making it easier to animate all the flashy stuff going on.

It was the IDW Beast Wars comics that made the Beast Wars Magnaboss combiner toys named Prowl, Silverbolt, and Ironhide be the same characters as G1 Prowl, G1 Silverbolt, and G1 Ironhide. Japan did not do this.

Instead, Japan took the Magnaboss toy and, while keeping the name "Magnaboss" for the combined form, redecoed it and renamed the three components as Lio Junior, Skywarp, and Santon, who are each their own unique individuals from G1 Prowl, G1 Silverbolt, and G1 Ironhide.

As for the thing about Binaltech having any connection to Beast Wars, it was the Beast Wars Sourcebook that tried to make the Transmetal 2 Prowl toy be the Binaltech version of Prowl, but some complications arose when the Binaltech story (which hadn't yet been completed at the time the Sourcebook wrote what it wrote about TM2 Prowl) was finally finished up but in a way that contradicted what the Sourcebook said about Prowl. It wouldn't be until last year when the Ask Vector Prime Facebook finally found a way to fix this mess and make some sense out of explaining away the previous contradiction between the Sourcebook and the Story of Binaltech.

Good News...If like me you've been eyeing BBTS large stock of UW-04 Devastator hoping the price might go down, well it has. They have him now for $179.99. ($40 off), that's really a decent discount , especially for BBTS. I am going to keep watching the quantities of him however, if they start selling like hotcakes, then I'll pull the trigger, if not, I'll wait for a *hope full* additional price reduction. I would get it now, but I've got both Bruticus & Computron in the last month, need my funds to build up a bit more.

So my UW Brut and Computron showed up today.
Both are incredible. A few QC issues, but overall, I'm really glad I didn't pass on either.

Here's how I'd rank what I have now as far as the 5 figure combiners (CW Devastator still is tops for me):

5. CW Defensor
4. UW Superion
3. UW Menasor (this is about a tie with Superion though)
2. UW Bruticus
1. UW Computron

Pretty sure my combiner collection is complete for now.
