Back when they were the only one on the market doing these large gestalt toys the staggered news worked fine, but open market competition is a bad place to keep secrets about you product. I mean, the second piece is about to come out and we still haven't seen the whole thing together? Honestly.
But yeah. I'll wait until the whole thing is available.
We've seen what the combined mode looks like - is that what you mean?
From TFW:
The upper half looks pretty good, I just can't stand those legs...
spongedude93 wrote:Thats actually not what I mean, that picture isn't anything more than a not-terrific photoshop. What I'm looking for is a picture, or even news at this point, of the fully combined Ares. TFC hasn't released any news regarding the last two members.
...To my knowledge.

It's not just you. He's a 6 fingered hot mess.
My favorite part of this Rampage is that he can be a power core combiner commander.

Would making the hands interchangeable save on parts count or cost? That's the only explanation I can think of.

Yeah, they're most likely on a ball joint so you can probably just pop one of em' off.
I probably won't though, cuz' I'm digging it and I may also need that extra thumb to get him to properly hold the UT not-Predaking sword I just bought for him (that TFC Fisher Price orange sword is the one thing I really don't did about this set, though MMC's isn't much better as it looks like those lame broadswords you'd see in old Looney Toons shows apparently).

Rated X wrote:Ugh...I hate those stupid spikes on the sides of the fists. UT did that too. Im so glad MMC didnt put them. And 6 fingers ? Really ??? Well Im sure TFC will do a Bestiality upgrade set with proper hands, sword, and a better gun. But this set is TFCs biggest fail.

Hey there, don't bash the MMC sword! Some of us appreciate an awesomely massive sword like MMC's. Plus, the fact that it's integrated all the individual 'Cons melee weapons is a great bonus (for those of us who like that sort of thing).
UT's sword looks good, but it's just an accessory. MMC's sword is truly part of the gestalt.
To make this post slightly relevant: Ares' sword is just plain un-inspired, IMO.
xyl360 wrote:As for TFC's sword, I agree completely. It sucks. It's a long orange hunk of suck on a stick.
xyl360 wrote:But yeah, UT's sword looks better than the rest and that's what Ares will be holding on my shelf.
