Sweet pic Whisper. Just remember, Fire effects wouldn't work with him, ruins the colourful candy shell.Whisper wrote:Fun with Electrum...

Uhm, actually not really.
Lately I've just been making them from scratch as I need them.
I was mainly worried that everything kinda ran together...

A big thanks to both for their efforts.

Maybe a little. At a quick glance it's hard to make the bot out. On the plus side though it made me look and I liked what I saw.

People probably think my thought processes are seriously screwed up for this. Did I mention I like Tumbleweed? I do. So much so i've spent a lot of time thinking about him and I realised there's something about him I don't like. And it's not just him, it's Kup as well.
The face. Kup is suppose to be this old grizzly Autobot, yet his face never really reflected that.
Same with Tumbleweed. The body is gritty and dirty but the face just seems too clean.
Like I said ... seriously screwed up thought processes.

Scars or dents ... something to give it that weathered look like the rest of the body.

hmmm still too neony. My suggestion was a green like this
As for the other suggestions, basically weather the face like you've done the rest of the body. Stress fractures, cracks etc. But don't go overboard just a couple of small ones to give him that weathered look.

My suggestion was to dim the optic a little, but leave a bright point of light near the center for a sort of 'squinty' effect.
And here again is your model:
