True, though these fights tend to take the best version to use...how that would apply to optimus is unknown. Annoyingly this does run similar to my ideas for a cross over fanfic of the two franchises, except my idea is that humans develop mobile suits as a way to even the playing field.

Welp, found a new holy grail in my mg collecting,
Deep Striker Sentinel Gundam.

This is just mad, I'm used to seeing prices like that for perfect grade 1/60 scale (or bigger!) For a master grade though? It's mind blowing...yet I want it

Tell me about it! I've also laid eyes on the mg f91 ver 2, ah so much gunpla so little time.

What do you think of the first half then? Speaking of new series, Gundam NT has a new visual out and to coincide p-bandai are releasing the phenex gundam...that is one very good looking ms.

I loved it! It's gonna take a bit before I watch the second season, I gotta finish 00.

And yeah, Narrative is looking interesting. I'm glad they brought Hiroyuki Sawano back to do the soundtrack, he's one of my favourite composers.

He's done stellar work, and so far the animation is top notch. I've seen a few begrudging comments but they seemed to because it's a direct follow on from unicorn. Come to think of it some of the comments people make about Universal Century series of late reminds me of what people have been saying about star trek for a while. That they are focusing on the past and neglecting the future...though in gundams case it's people calling for series set in the run up to the Crossbone Vanguard/Jupiter Empire/Zansacre Empire of F91 Gundam/Crossbone Gundam/Victory Gundam respectively.

Yeah, that makes sense. I guess they're trying to fill in the gaps between eras while milking the current one as much as they can? I dunno.

Oh, also, I'll be going to a hobby shop next Sunday. I'm hoping to pick up an HG Exia Dark Matter, Vidar, Barbatos Lupus, and an RG Wing. Depending on their stock of course.

Damn, hope you're able to find a set. What kit is it for? Destiny, Strike Freedom?

The build was...pretty okay? I think? I don't remember much, because...well, the Schwarzritter was the first HG that I ever built. It was originally for a friend, but I got it back in a trade.

It's for the 1/144 V2 Gundam, the first mobile suit to use the wings of light, I should have gotten when I had the chance, c'est la vie.

What did you end up trading to get it back? I've been looking at it myself...along with about thirty plus others

A special edition copy of Fire Emblem Fates. Figured she'd get more use out of it than I did; unfortunately I haven't been able to hook her on Gunpla like I have with several of my other friends. It's a great kit, but looking at it and some of my other earlier builds is pretty embarrassing...

We all go through that, like when I looked back at my old Gundam Wing kits before they were lost when I moved out. If I knew then what I know now, they would have been a lot better and a lot more cared for.

I don't know, that one is only 1/144 scale ;) Though I need to check on what is the biggest mobile armour in gundam history, I know the Nuel Ziel was pretty big.

That does make me think, what IS the biggest Gunpla they ever made? Those Mega Size 1/48 models come to mind, but I'm not so sure...

I think it might just be the unicorn 1/48 model...unless you count the life size unicorn gundam in Japan as a gunpla ;)

 well ps4 is the most popular console by sales numbers for this generation ;-) but this has always been a thing that I've noticed since the early days when playing gundam battle assault. The first three Dynasty Warrior Gundam games were available for ps3/xbox360 but all the really good games never made it out of Japan like Gihrens Greed.

Nice score :D

At the same expo as that unicorn full rg, they've announced that they are releasing a full unicorn blu-ray set that comes free with a blue version of that aforementioned rg...catch is, it's a p-bandai release, so it's going to be pricy. Checked my local import shop yesterday but all they had in was a mg crossbone gundam (which I got but have been thinking about getting a second to display as the 1-x kai version) mg rx-78 vers 3.0, hguc red frame and blue frame, and lastly the Schwarzritter! Though there is more mark up on them compared to amazon :-?
