Star Jammer wrote:The best CQC move by far that even works on Extreme and European Extreme is when you grab them (make sure you have a CQC gun equipped like tranq etc) now press up on the analogue stick and circle again and Snake will push the guard to the ground. Now immediately press square and Snake will say "freeze" when they're on the ground.
The guards weapon will disappear and they will stay on the ground for the entire time that you are in the area. you don't even need to kill anyone or use ammo and they will be out for the entire time, unless someone finds them, in which case they will get up but only have a handgun so even in alert they will do less damage. Its better than stunning them or putting them to sleep because they never get back up on their own

dude, catch/kill the vulture that ate him and ring paramedic, you'll find it pretty funny. and if you eat it and do the Sorrow fight (or walk) keep an eye out for a guy with a vulture and what he says.
I also love all the ideas they come up with

Double wrote:Not sure if this is old news or if anyone else has seen it, but somewhere on youtube there is a MGS4 trailer that initially implies the game to be a first person shooter, showing everything through the eyes & crosshairs of a PMC soldier, until Snake whips out from nowhere and disarms him with CQC. Bitchin.

JerryTerrifying wrote:No. No MGS2 characters show up in the Sorrow fight. That's hardly a Boss battle, it's a cool idea, but hardly a battle.
The End is the greatest Boss fight in video gaming history however.
Ericus Prime wrote:Hey guys, there's a new trailer up for MGS 4 introducing some new baddies: the "Beauty and the Beast" unit:

They are all women, they're pretty much what that guy talking to Snake are.
The wolf like one is Crying Wolf. The flying one is Raging Raven. The octupus: Lauging Octupus. Finally, the puppeteer: Screaming Mantis.
Looks like a bunch of dangerous group of people. Sounds like fun!

All of those code-names (Wolf, Raven, Octopus, and Mantis) are the FOXHOUND members from MGS1.

Yeah, three of those four FOXHOUND members are male and dead, and the members of the Beast unit are women like I said, so I doubt that they're the same people. But still, I can't help wonder: Coincidence or connection?
