Hmm. Hasn't it always been said that the twins were the most reckless out of the Autobots? Or more specifically... Sunstreaker. I think I remember, and have seen others mention, that he was the most reckless and violent. And that the twins as a team were "ruthless" in the sense that they made a good team.

As for the decepticons, are any of them really...reckless? Ruthless and without mercy, yes. But reckless? I don't think so.... maybe StarScream? Because he was always so focused on looking good and as the better leader?

Weapon: Chomping Rotor Blades
I see Blades, Strafe and the Dinobots being quite reckless.

As for the 'Cons...I'd say Brawl, Wildrider, Rampage and Tantrum.

Yeah, those Battlechargers are pretty nuts. Especially Runabout, since he loves explosions.

For the Decepticons I'd say Sixshot is the most flat out violent, however Shockwave is the most violent in that psychotic-what-the-hell-don't-shoot-me kind of way. Well, his Marvel incarnation anyway.

Sunstreaker was the most violent (his tech specs say he's pretty homicidal), but most reckless.... Cliffjumper?

Repugnus was supposed to be disgustingly violent too.

It's a tricky question, and I think it's made more so by specifying 'violent and reckless', because the two don't always go hand-in-hand. But here's my thoughts on a few that come to mind offhand.

Autobots:

Sunstreaker is probably the most ruthless and homicidal Autobot there is, but I wouldn't peg him as reckless. 'Streaker is cold.
Sideswipe is a kick-arse fighter, but while he likes to take his chances, he's pretty in control of himself. And he's only that reckless combatant part of the time, which I think is a pretty key factor. Off the field, he's a cheerful, popular mech.

Blades is certainly brutal. I'm not really sure what he's like in downtime, but he's definitely a hot-headed one, and there's no doubt his mercilessness when it comes to despatching bad guys.

Cliffjumper is reckless, but not one of the most violent Autobots as I see it. He certainly loves to bash heads in combat, but on the whole seems pretty good-natured.

The Dinobots I don't think I'd peg as 'most violent' as a whole, Sludge and Swoop especially not. Snarl is... miserable. And while Grimlock is the most powerful, he's got a pretty good idea of when to be violent. When he is, him Grimlock king. But I'd say Slag's the one to watch on that team. He may not be the strongest Dino, but he's the one most likely to rip you a new one if he thinks you're looking at him funny, or at all.

Not Strafe. He's not one to aim before he shoots, but that's because of his nerves, not any actual violent inclinations.

I'm not sure about Repugnus. I'm not sure I'd peg him as reckless. He's certainly not afraid to get his hands dirty, and he'll ace anyone he has to, but I think while he's got something of a sociopathic streak, it's along the same line as Sunstreaker.

I may well come back to this later to mull over some other characters, but there's a few to be going on with here... :P

Reckless Decepticons? Howabout Ramjet? Head down smashing through anything in his way... Or Rumble or Frenzy.
They're all violent.

Galvatron was the most violent in the sense that he didn't care who or what was on the recieving end of his violence.

As for an Autobot I'd say Victory Leo because as far as I know he is the only Autobot that simply has no empathy whatsoever. He lacks that compassion that prevents Autobots from really feeling good about killing an enemy. And he doesn't care who dies as long as the Decepticons are defeated.

Gotta be the Lambo twins, if only because at one point they must have had this conversation:

Sideswipe: Hey, why don't we launch ourselves into the air, grab a jet each, perform judo on them and hope we don't get thrown thousands of feet to the ground where we shatter into a million pieces?
Sunstreaker: Sounds like a plan.

I would bet that Blades does enjoy physically harming Decepticons. So, yeah...he is a sadistic badass.

After all, he is an aggressive Autobot who will resort to violence (That's probably the first thing he'll do, actually...).

And his profile states fairly clearly what he's like.

Underneath Blade's aerodynamically designed steel skin beats the engine of your basic street fighter. He would much prefer using his rotor assemply to slash through a horde of Decepticons than to fly.But his function keeps him in the air most of the time, and that really fires his fuel. Not only is he prevented from engaging his enemies in hand-to-hand combat, but he can only strike at them from long-range air attack, which he considers unsporting and cowardly. "If I'm gonna destroy someone, I want his fuel spurting all over me, not the ground below," says Blades. But this doesn't preclude Blades from doing his job and doing it well, a fact of which his fellow Protectobots are deeply appreciative.

Even his motto says something about him.

War's a dirty game- and I'm a dirty player!"

Grimlock for Autobots, but for the 'cons,Galvy takes the cake. In the movie he was, relatively speaking, pretty sane. But in Season Three,he would just flip the hell out for no reason all the time. Watch this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDI3NbldjbE

Now,ya see what I'm sayin'?

Galvatron comes across more as a spoilt child to me.. CLiffjumper is pretty reckless in my opinion.. Soundwave seems like a violonet character to me, even if only because his voice is cold and emotionless

I would have to say for the Decepticons it would be Piranacon.
***
His biography from the Marvel comic and his tech spec speak to the fact that NO-ONE can control him, not even himself or fellow Decepticons:

"Destroys everything in his path with ghoulish glee. A troublemaker and malcontent. Rarely follows orders. Fellow Decepticons are unable to control him. Capable of creating colossal tidal waves over 300 feet high. Because of his incredible size, Piranacon's reflexes are impaired out of water. Armed with the Seacons' entire arsenal of firepower"

Sounds like a front runner to me.

I think we all knew that.

But we still need someone for the Autobots! lol

And I'm still sticking with Blades. He's a pretty violent chap.
