The New iPod Thread
Holy. ****.
Yeah. iPod Shuffles in new colors, iPod nanos as big as your thumb, iPod classics with a totally redesigned interface and up to 160 gigabytes of space, and iPod touch with the all the power of an iPhone without the phone.
The only problem: do I choose the classic or the touch?

Go classic because the 8 gig touch is $299, and has almost none of the cool features of the iphone. If it were up to me, I'd get the new nano, because it now has video, along with a larger screen. AND, I bought the 2nd gen 8 gig about 6 months ago, under the impression that since they had just come out, it would be a cpl yrs 'till an updated version was released. now I'm a bit pissed.
Curse technology... LOL

I'll be upgrading to the new nano late next year, maybe christmas time.
My first generation nano still serves me well, but I've been meaning to upgrade the memory some.
So the jump from 2 gigs to 8 gigs, with no increase in price, is too good to pass up.
Plus I can have it ingraved, letting everyone know just how awesome I am.

You know what? I thought about getting an ipod nano this summer, as early as June, but held off for some reason.
Didn't know these redesigns were coming, but I'm glad I held off. Hopefully I can get one of the new ipod nanos, hopefully by Christmas time.

I got the free nano, and now THIS comes up, WITH video. WTF Apple, way to give away nanos just to make a new model. *Sigh* This is why I wanted a Zune.

I'll keep my 1 GB SanDisk Sansa with SD card slot expansion, which runs on AAA batteries (regular or rechargable).
