i saw that game....and i saw the touchdown. it was close, VERY close but it was a tuchdown. you can't blame the officiating for a loss, BELIEVE ME. thats why was banned from pee wee football.....and the subsequent fine for assault

The Pat's should have lost that game on 3 different occasions. Stopped on 4th and 1(damn timeout), stopped on 4th and 6(penalty I think) and then with the hail mary that got the receiver to the2 yd line as time expired(timeout bit them in the ass again). The football gods were with the Pat's that day.

or.....and i know this is a RADICAL thought....but maybe....just maybe there a good football team. 10 years ago when we where winning 2 games a season, and "got lucky" as you say, for one of those games, nobody would say anything bad about the pats. but now that there getting the job done its all "they got lucky" and "there was bad officiating"

I'm not saying they are not an excellent team, you don't go 16-0 by being "good". What I'm saying is for a couple games luck was on their side. The second half of the season the Patriots looked beatable compared to the first half. Granted no one beat them but thats not to say that a few teams didnt come damn close. Ravens and the Giants to name 2 right off the top of my head. The Giants looked like they had the Patriots number but couldn't hold it down at crunch time and thats where the Pat's prospered.

Even if you are a Pat's fan you can't rightfully say they deserved to win every single game they won. There are a couple they definately should have lost and they didn't which worked to their benefit.

Bottom line is they won and thats an accomplishment. I just hope they don't go all the way.

And for the time being they don't look as unbeatable as they used to.

i'll agree with you on that. there where times durring a few of there games that they bunggeled the ball (metaphoriclly speaking). like durring the giants game when braddy lobbed, the ball (not even an actuall throw, just a toss) and the lineman droped it. (HE WAS 10 F*CKIN FEAT AWAY, I COULD HAVE CAUGHT THAT) but the fact that they can get it together before the games end is why i still follow them

I have no personal vendetta against New England, I just like seeing super powers getting knocked down (unless it's the Cowboys :grin:

).

During the college bowl games, I was cheering for every underdog. If my Cowboys don't make it to the big game, I'll be cheering for the team less favored to win.

It's just the way I am.

I've hated New England for as long as I can remember.

no rhyme or reason to it.

I hate the Seahawks, Bears, and Bills like that too.

I hated the Packers for a long time but no part of me is kind of rooting for Favre.

I guess the only teams I'm justified in hating are the Titans, Colts and Steelers.

I hate all three of course being a Browns fan(Steelers) and a Jaguar fan(Colts and Titans).

I was reading the local paper and every sports analysist in the area are predicting Fred Taylor and Jones-Drew to run all over the Steelers and Garrard to rain hell down them in the passing game.

god I can't wait until Saturday!

i hate all 3 new york teams for no reason. the same with the redskins, steallers, bears, and the falcons. no reason just do. i do like both teaxas teams, the colts, and the pats of corse. mostly because those teams won me 300 dolors in the football pool at work (thank you payton :grin:

That was a BS call on interference in the endzone for Pittsburgh though. It clearly showed that the defender was being dragged by his facemask by the receiver.

Still, I'm happy with the results, as I'm sure Original Sin is. ;;)

Still say they will lose to either the Colts or Pats though.

Yeah I saw that, it was a terrible call all set up by that mustard-face Hines Ward.

Ok, so now I'm 3/4. All that means is that the Chargers get to lose to the Colts now, instead of the Jaguars, and the Jaguars get to lose to the Patriots, instead of the Titans.

I still say it will be Cowboys vs. Colts in the Super Bowl though.
