That looks slick, though I'd never thought about a repaint from the jetfire mold

I know right? He doesn't even need the head remolded. Seems like a dream come true for someone like Million Publishing or the Collector Club.ZeroWolf wrote:That looks slick, though I'd never thought about a repaint from the jetfire mold

Um, Rescue Bots team, would it be too much to ask for a transforming version of High Tide that looks at least vaguely like he will on the show?

An original mold deluxe class Ultra Magnus. It's about time.

Well, you could consider FOC Ultra Magnus to be it, even if it's a repaint of Optimus with a new head. That mold work WAY better as UM than OP.Jeen0808 wrote:An original mold deluxe class Ultra Magnus. It's about time.

Yeah, I've been eyeing that one (plus that 3rd party FoC Magnus), but I'm afraid to commit in case Hasbro does make an original mold. Just imagine that cute lil' car carrier.

Sure, CW Devastator look amazing and will be affordable for what we get, but it's no MP material. Just look at the individual bots and see where the budget cuts were made.
A true MP Devastator would be Herculese but licenced by HasTak.
This.

I'd love to see a new Titan-Class Unicron within the next few years. Of course it would have the planet and robot modes but what would be really cool is if he had a 3rd "base-mode" that had areas from the movie like the brain and smelting pool. He would rather come with a new version of Dead End or a legends class Galvatron that could act as a targetmaster
Shhhhhhh... I was never here. You never got anything from me.

I know the figure isn't great, but I would like a Overlord retool and repaint of Gen Bliztwing. About the only way we would ever get the guy in plastic form again.

Last year's Kabaya Overlord was quite good. His wavemates were the Road Ceasar team, too, who is SUBSTANTIALLY better (if smaller) than the G1 version.

How about a cityformer/baseformer with altmodes that don't suck, and without obvious robokibble hanging out everywhere? Is it too much to ask for a mode where the hands and/or head aren't visible? The closest I think I've seen is G1 Scorponok, and even then the hand-claws were visible from the side in base mode. Fort Max might have been a contender in city mode if it wasn't for his non-retracting, non-transforming hands (but the less said about the battlestation mode, the better).
Really, is it so hard on a Titan-class (or even Leader-class) base toy to have the hands and head fold away? It's not as if their altmodes have strict limitations on how they can look. A coherent pile of blocks for a city mode; a vaguely linear or wedge-shaped pile of blocks for a spaceship mode.
Even things like Metroplex's head: would it be so hard to have the sides of his head (including the antennae and sides of his helmet) slide or rotate up and snap together over the top of his head to form a weapons or sensing platform, then have the middle section of the head sink down into his chest? Is a head not allowed to transform unless it fully detaches?

Sadly that was how G1 did it, so if HasTak were to ever try and make the alt modes look decent they'd be bombarded with complaints about how it WASN'T GEEWUN ENUFF!!!! I totally agree though- a cityformer with a decent city mode would be awesome.

Overquoting to say that at least FortMax city mode is PERFECT. The hands are covered with the ramps, and the head because a separate bot. So, all is good! I am however, disapointed with Metroplex's city mode. The head could inded be able to hide better and the hands are just unforgivable. How hard was it to just allow the forearms to split open and let le hands go inside, like so many smaller TFs are able to do, for crying out loud?

I seem to recall reading that Generations Metroplex, at least, was designed to function as a playset, so they were probably more concerned with landing pads and battle stations rather than its aesthetics as a stand-alone display piece.

Time for another silly wish.
Remember ROTF voyager Stratosphere?

It even come with a transformable micro Optimus as an accessory and to give a nice sense of scale. That OP is even smaller than a minicon!
So...
I want a ROTF Stratosphere... compatible and in scale with a LEADER ROTF Optimus Prime!
How big would that thing be?

Why Stratosphere? I like your general idea, but I feel it can be better applied elsewhere. So...
How about an Animated Omega Supreme in scale with deluxe Ratchet instead? Complete with lights and sounds and a deep, rumbling voice to sorrowfully remind us that we do what we must, even if it doesn't make sense.

I still want a Ruination remold of the CW Bruticus we're supposed to get.
But I'd want a new legends figure to go with it: Gigatron, based on RiD Megatron and modeled after the character's appearance in the "Drift: Empire of Stone" comic. This is an excuse for a hand mode that can replace one of the hands of a standard Combiner Wars gestalt.
The recolor would have to be something like "Chaos Gigatron", though, since I don't think Hasbro could get away with using "devil" on a domestic release.

Not quite on topic but I doubt there would be one. From its design there should be a decent robot hidden in there somewhere. Its like a real life Thunderbird rescue vehicle.
